So it's a widescreen video ipod with 4Gb or 8Gb of memory. That doesn't sound very impressive or practical to me. Personally I don't like the idea of a touch screen for the keypad either, it makes it a lot harder to use. A lot of people didn't like the Motorola phones with the smooth metal keypads as you can't feel which key you're using.
It looks very flashy and I'm sure lots of Apple fans will buy it but the mobile phone market is a lot more competitive than the MP3 player market was when the Ipod was launched.It's my problem, it's my problem

I've got to admit the introduction of the iPhone was overwhelming to watch & I can only presume it was a way of showcasing of how in a roundabout way what the next iPod video in a larger widescreen format will become with touchscreen as 8gB is not enough to use the iPhone as a music/video iPod as well. I've got a 30gB iPod video now & thats nearly full with stuff, so my money is staying in my pocket for now.
