Apple the makers of the ipod has just launched the iphone. anyone goes links to information or pictures on this new product?????

    No pictures are released afaik.

    Read a bbc article about it today. All that was announced I think was that it is ipod like though acts as a phone with internet capabilities as well!

    Sounds quite fun but I'm keen on more information too :)

    Absolutely FANTASTIC. Just looked at the link you just game me .. I can see myself wanting this product............. only thing is that the camera is 2MG and I would be wanting to upgrade to a 4mg but in a year or two this would get to this level.

    This product can REALLY add value to your life and the way you live. This product does and looks like it is from the future. Apple make such good looking and easy function products that they will DEFINATELY do well with this.

    Right at the end of the BBC video Jobs says that the phone has OST and it gets a huge cheer, anyone know what the hell OST is?!?!?!

    but it has maps so you won't get lost and internet access (e.g. you could price match on the spot while in dixons and this would allow you to buy or buy online without having to walk home to your computer) and....... I would personnally wait 2 years for it to get smaller and also have 4meg camera....

    meh 2 years is a long time! I'd be tempted to get it now on contract and then upgrade!

    Hope itcomes out on vodafone with a student deal :D

    And this from the bbc pages "

    The phone, which will cost from $499 (£257) to $599, will be launched in the US in June and Europe later this year. Apple is not yet saying how much the iPhone will cost in the UK, but using the comparison of a Mac mini computer the 4 gigabyte (GB) model would be about £335. "

    Should give people time to save up .... and form an orderly queue ....
