I have recently left talk talk and gone back to sky.
12 months ago we went with talk talk, and straight away noticed the bb speeds were much much lower than we previously had. After spending a lot of time on the phone to the technical dept we pinned the problems down to the rubbish little router they provided. They then refused to supply a better router and advised me they couldn't help any further.
Last week, I phoned up to cancel my account, and guess what they offered me...yep, a free n rated router, free upgrade to talk talk plus, and they would ramp up my bb speed! I was a little frustrated to say the least and continued to cancel the direct debit.
My experience of talk talk products and customer services is terrible.0 -
Hi Puffin,
I can appreciate your frustration however the N router was only applicable to subscribers to TalkTalk Plus services. As such if you were on essentials at the time then the standard router was a G router.
if the router is identified as a cause of the issue and this is still covered by warranty this can be replaced under the terms of your contract.
I can only apologise if this was not made clear to you at the time of contact.
