  • Sorry i dont know how to find them on here as im a newbie too lol x But i use here http://www.fightingdebt.co.uk/templates.html for letters :) x
  • Hello Cookie,

To start knowing what you owe just list what's on your credit reports + any debts you are made aware of from letters/phone calls you get. You've got to build the full picture and you can only do it with the facts/info you've got to hand.

If you get to the point where your credit report is clear and no one is contacting you about debts etc, that's as debt free as anyone ever gets :D.

As for the template letters, what topic are you looking for a letter on? They're all in different sections according to the point you want to make i.e reclaim bank charges, reclaim PPI, access to past bank statements etc.

I think a new SOA and a call to CCCS/CAB will give you a much clearer overall picture. :j

Ok here is my 'hopefully' complete soa
I have put amounts in for haircuts/presents etc - do these seem ok to everyone lol sorry to ask just never put them in before...too little or too high?
I have highlighted in red the ones that are 6yrs old or more
I have put DEFAULT next to ones that are defaulted (what does this mean exactly?)
Also...I have tried to get my reports from callcredit and equifax to no avail! They seem to think I'm not who I say I am and it's driving me up the wall so shall try again tomorrow

  • Basically...Can anyone tell me which of those debts I can write off, ask to be written off etc

I also have debts with BT VIRGIN SKY but none are showing on experian report - see above about equifax/callcredit

Also I would like to say that I have had NO correspondence from any of the above debts for a good 5-6mths (letters/calls)

  • If I have 287.65 left a month...would it be best to clear the smaller debts in full? Like capquest 177, natwest 264, provident 171 one a month for 3 months? Or start payment plans with @ £41.09 pm for the 7 I currently don't pay? (I refuse to pay the £11 to BG as I was on a prepayment meter at the time and really cannot see how I could owe this albeit £11 its still £11 I do not owe!)
The two family debts have both agreed to hold tight until I have cleared the debts off...thankfully...though I would still love to repay them something each month even if only a little?

  • I still can't get callcredit to accept my card details

Equifax threw up a virgin account defaulted on 11/06/2009 for £378

Is there a way I can add other addresses to equifax...I cannot seem to find it?
