HTC Wildfire S - best contract?
Options
Ok, so at the moment i'm on O2 with a simplicity (one month rolling contract) and paying £15 a month, for this i get
300 anytime minutes
unlimited texts
free o2 to o2 calls
I am looking to go for a contract which includes a phone (am thinking the Wildfire S) - and the best deal i can see on O2 (i would like to stay with them) is:
£21.50 a month (24 month contract) - which you get
500mb internet
200 anytime minutes
unlimited texts
250 o2 to o2 minutes
Does this sound about right, or is there better out there?
Any advice would be much appreciated,
Many thanks..

You are already on a downhill slope considering a 24 month contract.
If 3 covers where you wish to use the phone then their £15 payg option seems a lot more generous than what you have quoted above.0 -

Really? i can't find anything around the £20 mark unless i go onto a 24 month contract..
I ideally need to stay with o2 as all family/friends are with them..0 -
e2save have the wildfireS on a redemption offer, works out to £6.81 a month, offers 100mins 100texts and unlimited data but is with tmobile so it is limited data really (to 500mb) or they do £11.76 for 300mins 300texts and 'unlimited data'

If you go via topcashback or quidco you can also get cashback.0 -
should i really not be going for a 24 month contract??0

I've been with o2 for 4 years now and do want to stay with them, i have 'chatted' with them through their online live chat system and they say there is no better deal they can do for me even though i've been a loyal customer for 4 years. is this true? will they do anything if i phone up or do i just go ahead and order online?0

PAYG handset is available for £160 from '3'. £12.50 quidco
300+3000+1G costs £10 on 12-month contract with £54.55 cashback.
£160+24x£10-£12.5-£54.55=£333 - and this is on 1-year contact, not 2-year, and 300 minutes instead of 200.I've been with o2 for 4 years now and do want to stay with them0 -
24x£21.5=£516

Loyalty doesn't pay.
We don't get a good '3' signal in our area.
If i was to leave o2, then my mum, bro and hubby would move with me and we'd need free calls to each other through the network..
any ideas please?0 -
Buy from '3' and unlock (or consider other phones:Best SmartPhone under £200? ). Go to giffgaff (£10 goodybag) or tesco mobile (£7.50+£5 sim-only). Both use O2 signal. Take your family with you.0

thanks for you help..
the only problem i have with both of those is that they don't have 'free calls to the same network'??
EDIT: skip that giff gaff do, am looking into them now..0 -

You can get it for £370 total cost on O2 - minus quidco over 18 months with 300 minutes, 500MB data, unlimited texts.
Catch is £37 a month with 16 months half price.0
