You can get it for £370 total cost on O2 - minus quidco over 18 months with 300 minutes, 500MB data, unlimited texts.
Catch is £37 a month with 16 months half price.

how does that work....can you post a link please?

does it include o2 to o2 allowance minutes?

Its a cashback offer - not automatic cashback.
Suggest you consider talking to O2 and getting them to make you a cheap offer for a phone which is not worth more than £15 a month in my opinion for 300 mins/text and 500mb.

If it's of any help, I have just upgraded my phone (which was a bog standard one, not a smart phone). I got my deal with Virgin (who I have been with for a while). I got the HTC Wildfire S for £18 and they gave me 600 mins x network, 3000 texts, 400 virgin mins and 1 GB of data. This was more that I had before and never exceeded it so I know this will be plenty for me. it is a 24 month contract , however I dont mind as I have been with them for donkeys and v happy with them.

Talkmobile do the Wildfire S for £12/month (24 month contract) - this gives 200 mins/200 texts/1 gig of internet. They use Vodafone's network rather than O2, though. Quidco are currently offering £35 cashback as well - this will bring the monthly price down to about £10.50. I've just switched from Vodafone to Talkmobile on this deal.
  • I'm thinking of getting the HTC Wildfire S as an upgrade, but don't understand when they say that I get 500MB Mobile Web? Does that mean I can browse the internet for free? ATM I have to pay 30p for each day I use the internet, but vaguely remember having the same mobile web included in my current package??

Sorry to sound thick :rotfl: but I'm sure some nice mse'r will put me right!

    Who are 'they'?
Does that mean I can browse the internet for free?
Nothing is free. 500Mb are part of the package that you pay for.

    'they' are virgin mobile.
I'm with them currently, and I'm sure I get 500mb, but I pay 30p a day for internet access, that's what's confusing me. Does it mean I can use upto 500mb? but still have to pay to connect? Their website doesn't make it clear.

Yes, if you have 500Mb included in your plan you don't have to pay for using the internet until you use the entire allowance. You don't pay for connection.
