Just to update - we finally found a house that hadn't already sold by the time we were able to view - offers in and it closes at midday today, so fingers, toes etc crossed.....Number 86 - Stole a car from a one legged woman... I'm just trying to be a better person0

hope you get the house, which area is it in, not being nosy or anything0

Good luck was it one of the ones you said you had a look of?

Kicked into touch unfortunately! The house was on Deeside Gardens, great size, condition, location etc. Offers over 185k, we thought we'd offer high because of the distance we're travelling to view and our timescales so offered 252k. there were ten offers and ours was the eighth!
So back to the drawing board - will keep you posted!!Number 86 - Stole a car from a one legged woman... I'm just trying to be a better person0 -

Afraid Aberdeen has had the biggest average price rises in the last 12 months in Scotland. Totally nuts at 27% increase. You will get something though!
My pal lives in Rosemount, which is lovely, like a wee village, but about 10 minutes to Union Street. Have you thought about Banchory? Village just outside Aberdeen.
Good luck!0 -
Thanks! Didn't realistically think we would get the first place, just a bit of an eye opener getting so badly blown out the water!! Re Banchory - we're both city people at heart and although we visited Inverurie, Ellon and Banchory and liked them, we would rather stay in the town, even though it means compromising on price etc. Got a couple more houses we like though so hopefully get something!!Number 86 - Stole a car from a one legged woman...
