:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Ashford..... Mr LW found what looks to be a very nice hotel, which has adapted rooms for disabled, so no problem with the wheelchair. We're booked in for bed'n'breakfast, and can choose on a daily basis to eat in their restaurant or go elsewhere for our dins.:) Deffo looking forward to a decent pint or three of Spitfire.;)
I will source some suitable drinking houses for youCanterbury would be a nice day trip, only half an hour on the train - they are very good with wheelchair users, helping on and off the train and across the stations (I used to do this trip regularly for 18 months, often with a blind man and his lovely dog).
The Hop Farm if you like animals other than dogs? They often have events as well as the main farm stuff. And if you like to be beside the seaside there's Sandwich, Whitstable, Broadstairs, Deal (may be bit too hilly??), Ramsgate, Margate - new Turner Contemporary Art gallery if you are so inclined.
I'll look up the pubs first*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Martin Luther King Jr0 -
The only thing I decluttered was a snooze.
No idea how I'll cope next week with early mornings, late nights and no afternoon naps.
Since then I emptied the DW, put WM on (DS2 stripped his bed) and made a cuppa. Going to get tea sorted, but I'll have mine later, as I'm still full.0 -
My back is a lot better, I can stand up straight without tons of pain! :j
So pleased, especially as I'll be doing a sponsored walk on 25th Sept for the Alzheimer's Society. If anyone fancies donating here's my Just Giving page - hope it's OK to put this on. http://www.justgiving.com/Sharon-Rollin
DH had the day off work yesterday and did tons of washing, so I've just put one basket away/into ironing pile after work this eve. Will do a bit more tonight, but not much more as back is telling me about it. We'll sort the rest tomorrow, then sort living room as a family as it looks like a bombsite.
Decluttered two carriers full of assorted baby/maternity items to a friend who is expecting. :T0 -
OK, I give in, my house is a TIP, I can't move for stuff and it's really not very tidy here at all - so I think if it's OK with you lot I'll join you next week. I will probably just post what I'm doing/HHC etc as really HAVE to cut down on time spent on the Mac but I'll be joining in.
I'm a human boomerang really - keep coming back all the time!

Mumof2 how lovely to see you back!:T:T:TDecluttered a sleep, AF has dropped by the first time in 8 months, I thought I was the other side of the menopause but it seems not, not a happy bunny here! She's here, too - can't remember the last time now.
Bonnie_b I love all 4-leggeds, not just dogs, and would be pleased to have info.:o Gosh, we're only going for 3 days, sounds like we'll have plenty to do!:)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Ladies, would you please ask her to bypass Milton Keynes.... I haven't seen hide nor hair of her for 2 years and 3 months now, and I'd like it to stay that way!:D
If she's made it to kazw she's not far from you....
I have my parents'dog staying. She's trying to convince me that she gets fed about every five minutes. Mind you, she clearly can't count, as she gets a chew and a biscuit at tea time. She used to just get the chew. Now she knows she gets more than one thing, but always forgets she's had the first one!0 -
Devil Child got picked up late
(although his mum did text to let me know) so i had him for nearly 10 hours. He would try the patience of a saint (and I aint no saint
). The other 3 kids got picked up 15 minutes late aswell - and their mum was due to pay me & didn't  I now have no cash whatsoever (apart from the £1 something in my bag). It was their first week - if she carries on I will let them go. This is a business, not a favour!!
Anyway, when i finally had the house to myself, I bought in both loads of washing, put the cushion covers back on, vac'd through downstairs & watched 1 episode of Holby City (I am so behind). DH got in late, and neither of us were that hungry. i have just decluttered some scrambled egg on toast, and he hasn't had anything yet.
I really need to get going in here tomorrow! I have art in the morning, and I need to do a food shopI may attempt a meal plan again
