Vanilla, I'm glad your getting your place sorted re the decorating, sounds like a sensible plan. I may do like a Piggers and ebay all assets for jobs to be done round the house.
Apparently hubby is knocking down the rest of the walls in the bathroom tomorrow, **sigh** mucky, dusty, filthy job which spreads throughout the house.

Normally i would just do it myself but they have done a far better job than i could ever do.... So worth the money...and i'll never paint a room again. I'll be doing the same regarding ebay, need to find the money for the rest of the house, kitchen next and then livingroom but i want them both done before christmas......

Painter now away and won't be back for a week as he's away on holidays. The bedroom still needs a second coat but the wallpapering is done and looks fab...:D Hall needs painted and doors glossed, they only got undercoated today.

Right dinner needs put on as DD will be back for 5 and she'll be starving..:rotfl:
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

we'll be off to a hotel in Kent from the Tuesday to the Friday, of that week. I know zilch about Kent other than it's Shepherd Neame country.:D

LW I'm in Kent!! Whereabouts are you staying? I'll see if I can find info and activities suitable for a 6 yr old and a 7 yr old :D

It's been REALLY hot here today, shorts & T-shirt weather, and the smell of BBQs is wafting into my house. I've washed hats, gloves and scarves today though as you never know when the weather will turn...

    Ugh

Was out and busy this morning and found out my dad and mum re-attempted the light fit last night and they've been agin. Turns out a bit of debris in the bulb holder was causing it to short/blow fuses. DS fixed the fuse last night - good job I had shown him how! Anyway my mirror's up now, too

beds stripped and bedding on line. DS's is remade with a new duvet cover. Now I'm clean and sparkly I need to do the bathroom because it's awfully dusty...

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Ashford..... Mr LW found what looks to be a very nice hotel, which has adapted rooms for disabled, so no problem with the wheelchair. We're booked in for bed'n'breakfast, and can choose on a daily basis to eat in their restaurant or go elsewhere for our dins.:) Deffo looking forward to a decent pint or three of Spitfire.;)
