Morning All!
JoJo - ((HUGS)) for your daughter. Wishing her a speedy recovery!
LW - As PigPen said, relax a bit. My apartment has never been very tidy in the 2 and a half years I've been there, but all is still OK, and OH and I aren't ill so all is good. You always seem to do far more than me anyway! I bet it's a palace compared to my place!
Valli - Ooohh, thanks for the reminder about lightbulbs. Just had to replace the ones in kitchen/living room, so need to restock for when they next go. Should invest in energy savers this time too
Triker - Congrats on the new DW. I'm very jealous!
OK, I still haven't updated my budget/spends! I don't have time to do it at work, well, I could, but I spent some time calculating how much money my sister should be receiving from one of the banks for her PPI claim (they've agreed to pay out, but I just wanted to ensure they weren't going to offer her less than she should get), so I didn't really have time to look at my finances too. Need to make up some time at work. So, I intend to look at budget/spends tonight if I find the energy.
Last night was WM x 1, other washing folded and put away, dinner made of chicken stirfry! Was yummy!!!And leftover rice has been saved for another meal. Also made some egg salad for sandwiches at lunch today, for both OH and I (for a change) as he is working from home today waiting for a package to be delivered. I washed the dishes (groan), and sterilised my Mooncup ready for impending AF (think OH is getting a bit fed up of getting his head bitten off this week!), and then I indulged in some TV before bed.
Today is another day, and it's the weekend, so I can accomplish more.
Have a good day all, and ((HUGS)) to all who need them!

Morning flyfriends
DD decluttered to school by OH. DS2 decluttered out the door by me to school. Pocket minus £10 to DS2 for a locker:mad:.
Had a night of chaos last night. Phoned Brown Owl at 5.30 to see when the brownies were going back as I hadn't seen anything in the paper, I was thinking probs next week or the week after, no it was 6pm:eek:. Had to run get DD ready phone next door to tell my pal to get her wee one ready, feed both of them chips out of the chippy as neither had had tea and run round to the church! Such a shame too I was in the middle of the ironing so that's first job this morning so that I can get all the stuff away.
SS and DS1 going to Glasgow today shopping. SS wants to spend some time with the wee ones before he heads to Afganastan next week so I should have peace most of the day and I'm going for a coffee with a pal I've not seen for ages but bumped into at the school yesterday so that should be nice.Funfairs list of daily dreads

Flying wise dw has been emptied, rubbish took out, tools took out, units wiped down, phone calls made, windowsil cleared/cleaned and lunch scoffed. Rhys has been across the field and is now away down to his granny's for a bit.
Plan now is to carry on with the kitchen and give the livingroom a quick tidy..Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

Morning all,
Busy day for me, so not much flying to be done, but I have washed up and tidied a few odds and ends, but already there's a distinct lack of clutter in the house - oh yeah, that'll be the OH :rotfl:
Seriously though, the purging of the house is going well - and with free listing on Ebay this weekend is the weekend to get it all listed. Heavier stuff is going on Facebook, people just do not like paying the postage these days! Feeling a lot better than I thought I would - especially as a back payment of TCs has taken care of a bunch of smaller debts. I've lost weight this week as well, so all in all, there's not that many negatives so far.
Triker - the gammon sounds nice, cut us a slice! The slow cooker has been put in the cupboard, DH objected to what he called 'casserole every night' but it's now back out, proudly sat next to my halogen oven of awesomeness
Pollybear - early morning baking sounds awesome - my kids are up at 6, so no chance of having the house to myself for a bit, but I should try it should they ever have a lie in
lil_me - I'm doping OU as well, Business Functions in Context. Opened the box and nearly had a heart attack. First Lv 2 course and the books are mahoosive! Course doesn;t start til OCT though, and the site isn't open - it's manily interent based so limited amoutns I can do til then. Good luck chick!
Right, I'm off to round up the kids and start the list of stuff to be done, which involves driving a truck (only passed my test a couple of weeks ago, and I'm already in charge of a 2.5 tonne vehicle!) mow some lawns for a friend and generally try not to stress out! This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Morning!
Sat here with cold coffee and a cat crashed out on the table. She thinks I can't see her behind the laptop screen. Even if I couldn't, I would certainly be able to hear her purring smugly away.
Was awake between 3 and 5 this morning. Ugh. No idea why, but eventually went back to sleep as the binmen clattered their away down the next street. Woke up to find that they haven't taken the recycling cardboard or the giant sack of garden waste. So that'll sit there fermenting for a fortnight now.
I really must complete my OU application for Inside Music this week, or I'll lose my place. But I can't find a record of my SSI (?) number anywhere.
Oh...and as an aside...it might come to nothing...sure it won't, really....but I heard of someone looking for a bassist for a band that does a lot of functions, so need someone with the ability and knowledge to play lots of varied covers...different eras and all that...so I've got in touch and might...well, probably won't...get a reply from them soon.
Won't hear anything. Sure I won't. Not good enough....Too old, too fat and too female....but they did want someone who can play lots of different stuff, which most 22 year olds have a hard time doing, because they haven't heard so much of it...and the average kid doesn't get how to go from 60s bubblegum pop to ska to punk to jazz at the flip of a coin.....and looks at 40th or 50th birthday parties as a pain and not a great excuse to play some great tunes for an incredibly enthusiastic audience..........:whistle:I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
