Okay all the clothes are laundered, just the towels and bed linens to do tomorrow, most of the floors have been swept, some dusting has happened , the loo and sinks are done, and tonight I will do the stove top :o

Lost the post with the recipe, so am trying again. This make lots. Get out lots of dishes as you van cling film and freeze the leftovers:

Pkt sponge fingers or leftover cake
    Espresso or concentrated instant coffee
    Rum or other booze
    500g mascarpone
    5 eggs, separated
    5 tbsp sugar
    Cocoa powder

Whisk egg whites till stiff. In a separate bowl beat egg yolks, sugar and mascarpone (I do all this in the magimix, especially when doing larger quantities). Stir egg white carefully into mascarpone mixture.

Spread a thin layer of mascarpone over the bottom of the dish. Cover with a layer of booze and coffee soaked biscuits. Cover with mascarpone mixture. Sprinkle a thick layer of cocoa powder over the top (I do this through a tea strainer). Leave overnight in the fridge to set. Freeze what you don't eat.

I make this for my friend to serve to her italian inlaws and they think she's a genius. I picked up the recipe when I was working in a restaurant in Florence.
Ooh, thanks, you're a star!:A I've snagged it and filed it on my Recipe memory stick - listed as "Greenbee's Tiramisu" :D

Looks easy to do, and I think it's something Mr LW will love! All I need now is a little space in the freezer; we're working on that, though.;)

Right, time-out over, back to the dusting. I'm having to dust round the biggest dragons, as I can't lift them one-handed.:(
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

I haven't got a DW, sorry for those who are missing theirs but I really don't mind washing up at all and I've never longed for a dishwasher!

    I know I'm weird.

I keep trying to figure out what I can live without in my kitchen just so I can find space for one!!

    thanks for the recipe

Well I've had the kids at home all week, so haven't managed to even start my flylady -but now DH has moved back to his mummy's (so really should be EX dh) there's lots of scope to get tidied up. I'm determined to start next week once the kids are back! My main issue is storage i.e. I have none. But today I have run a cleaning cycle on the washing machine - does that count lol
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Current Pay Off Target : £1500
  • We went to the park for a while :) then I did lunch for the LO's when we got back. DS & NDN (both 13 yr old boys) have been playing with the Happy Land toys for most of the afternoon :D It is so nice to see children that are not in a hurry to grow up, and that still enjoy playing, instead of trying to impress their peers :T
DS & DD2 have been picked up by my mum, and are staying at hers for a couple of nights (that's my meal plan blown away again! :().
i just have 1 child left in the house now (until 5.30 :j)
WM on, DW has finished (needs to cool down before I empty it).

i have been working on paperwork this afternoon, trying to set up an invoice system. I am not sure the parents want invoices, but if i have them on my system, they are there if they need them, and i have a 'paper trail' for my tax records aswell (even if I don't print the actual paper!)
Just having a cuppa at the moment :)
