Greenbee - what did you end up getting your OH or haven't you yet?

I've also got my AF order arriving this afternoon - have no idea where I'm going to put that seeing as I haven't finished unpacking yet!

I got him some yaktrax (the order arrived quicker than expected!), HFW's bread book on my mad shopping trip yesterday and found an appropriate quotation to write in it, a pair of socks (lovely bamboo ones which I couldn't give him if I didn't have anything else!) and a DVD which is a joke related to our boss... And obviously a nice card. I'm making chicken with fennel in the SC for supper, and have taken a home-made tiramisu out of the freezer.

Hope you have something nice arriving from AF! I have lots of lovely pulses and olives and loo paper!

    Morning all.

Dinner sounds lovely greenbee. I hope first day back at work isn't too much of a shock. Was lovely to meet you yesterday and talk to a sensible human being about something other than accountancy.

Off to program my Garmin and test it by taking furry beast for a walk.

I can't remember Greenbee - Sunday was a long time ago!

First lot of dishes put away, second lot of dishes done and all kids now fed. Still probably another 2 lots of washing up to do!

I suppose I'd better get dressed.

Good morning ladies. I've been enjoying some time with DH who has loads of holiday still to take. I made huge savings in the bank holiday sales so feel quite pleased with myself. 11 days until we fly to Crete for the wedding. I've started putting a few bits in bags and am keeping a detailed list of what I have packed. DH is very impressed with my organisational skills:D

I'm organised for back to school. Everything is labelled. I must download the holiday request forms from the school websites ready to send them in on the first day.

Like Valli I was awake stupidly early this morning. I've done a huge pile of ironing and emptied and washed out the bins. Breakfast is eaten and I'm chasing the little ones to get dressed so we can go to Cambridge for the day. On the way back I will go to Tesco and I'm out with some girlfriends for a few glasses of vino tonight.

Mrs Chaos - My DS1 lost his NI card. They don't reissue them any more but send you a letter with the number printed on it.

Welcome home to all those recently returned from holiday!

I'm popping up to get dressed quickly and then will be doing a HHC at 9.30 if anyone wants to join me?
  • morning all :hello:

    monday - did living room

    tuesday- did kitchen

wednesday - crashed big time, I was so cold I was blue, and so tired I had to have a sleep at lunch break, made bread and sorted and dinner, but couldn't eat it, didn't feel human till about 9pm. I have no idea why.

thursday - bathroom, then shower, then hospital visit, I don't know if I should mention the occasional crash to consultant, it's probably related to the tablet [Arimidex] but I can't stop taking it if it is going to stop the cancer coming back and I should be stoppping it next April anyway. he always says can you tolerate it and I guess the answer is yes.

    sorry rambling:o

well done Vanilla and I hope you get transport sorted easily, its about time you had some good fortune come your way.

hugs, get a grips, rocks for trolls and sticks for BDs

  • Good morning :D

Food bin out, in & washed up, bins out, recycling out (I love bin day :j If only it wasn't so early...), DW loaded (will put on when DS has had breakfast), washing up done, dog fed. Not too bad.

I am doing my paid work now. I have 3 here now, and one arriving at 10.30. We may go to the park after that :)

i may have a chance to catch up on some jobs later.

hugs & spoons to those that need them

Right i best get ready for ringing the benefit office for sister and i must get her landlords number too.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
