Thanks for all the hugs - it helps to know people understand out there!

Tootifrutti - Painkillers won't touch it. All the GP tells me is to max out on paracetomol and Ibuprofen. I see a chiropractor, but typically being a bank holiday weekend I couldn't get to see her. I know this sounds stupid, but it just didn't occur to call yesterday. I get this kind of fuzzy brain with the pain and depression of it all. I think you might understand. Baby is good, he's mostly busying himsellf with all the stuff DD has left out on the LR floor. The big problem is I can't stand up straight, my muscles just lock together on one side. Once I can ease them off things get a lot better then I'm fine for a while (within reason!). I have been delegating the neessary jobs like DW, bins, etc to DH but he works all day and typically worked Saturday and Monday too. Just all bad timing!
Think it's a little better today.

It just helped to get it off my chest with people I know will understand.

    :)

    Hi everyone
Vanilla, what a great sister you are, you could send her an internet shop for when she is back, we did this for DPs sister when she was having a bad time, we put some chocs and wine in it too. The idea of the home cooking is fantastic at least sh would get some good food in her. Keep in touch with her, just a text or call will mean a lot. Keep smiling!

Well I am up by 9.30, dressed, washed, teeth, swish and swipe bathroom x 2 done
Loaded WM (3 loads to do today)
DW not full yet - due to eating at KFC after DD gymnastics list night
    Diary checked
Daddy long legs and cobwebs in iving room and hall all sucked up hoover

    To do today:
    get DD dressed etc
    breakfast
    declutter hotspot in dining room,
    Frogs:
    take photos for ebay
    order trampoline pad
cheerful email to friend dying of cancer

Sorry to dampen the thread but desp need to share -determined to keep going today after the day I had yesterday:
The NHS fertility consultant basically told me that surgery to unblock my left fallopian tube is not recommended, as it carries a risk of damage to the tube, and if the tube is already seriously damaged they would remove it. This would them cause me further problems although he didnt tell me what. I asked him about the right tube and he said that the xray had not shown the dye had travelled all the way into the ovary but had gone nearly to the end so he couldn't rule out it being blocked as well. Taking that into accoutn her daid there was nothing more he could do to help me get pregnant naturally and I was not eligible for IVF treatment on the NHS. So that is it - case closed for them. He suggested I look into private fertility clinics.

I feel like Ihave been punched in the stomach. I cant quite understand how this happened, I went in for investigations based on the fact that I could not carry a 2nd pregnancy beyond 10 weeks, not becuase I cant conceive. He thinks maybe the cesarean I had with my DD might have caused an infection but we will never know what has caused the bockage. I am wondering if the right tube is still OK becuse I have conceived successfully twice since once to 10 weeks and once to 6 weeks but not since May 2010.
I am going back to my GP on Monday to discuss it further. Meanwhile I need to do what the consultant says and look into the cost and success rate of IVF clinic for women my age. My nearest clinic only hs a 4% success rate for age 40-42. I am devestated. Dont know what to think at the moment just shocked to my core.
In my despair I ate a whole packet of toffees, bag of peanuts and a litre of coke, and then felt really sick.
Been much better today had a glass of fresh orange and a bananna.

Totally get the pain, Tramadol would def help, I have it 24h and it helps take the edge off, its non addictive too, perhaps try badgering the GP for it. Otherwise (if you havent tried it already) cold or heat pack?
Lots of gentle hugs and love to you. x

    Morning All.

Again, I didn't do anything last night. Pure laziness. I forgot to get the stamps I need on the way home too. Plus, I just missed the train I needed to get to Ikea also, and again, didn't fancy waiting around another half an hour for the next one.

But...I did get the stamps this morning (after some rude woman tried to cut in the line, and then gave me evils whilst doing it. Guess what? She got them back, and soon scampered off to the back of the queue!). And, I have agreed with boss to leave work about 10 mins early today so I can get the bl00dy train to Ikea. Also now picking up a makeup mirror for her as she dropped hers last night. lol

I hope everyone is well. ((HUGS)) for everyone!

Sending you gentle (((hugs))), sharonr and fibromum. Can't make any suggestions, though. :o

Made a little bit of progress in my HHC (thanks, FFP). Towels are on the line, DW is stacked and ready to go on once everyone has eaten, more rubbish/recycling are out and I've unpacked a bag that's been sitting around since Friday. Also made choc milk for DS2 and toast for me. He'll have breakfast in a minute.

I'm going to look at a couple of info leaflets and update my list for the rest of the week.
