    Tuesday ~ pick a room...OK, let's get the Kitchen up to scratch:cool:
    Level One
Declutter and vacuum/mop the floor All floors done by Mr LW:A
pile up all the hotspot into one mountain and pend 15 minutes sorting through it! No hotspots! I don't allow them to form, if it's at all avoidable:p
    Level Two
Dust and deweb Done; plus all the usual kitchen wiping of surfaces, hob etc
Wash soft furnishings that need doing.. throws, curtains, blinds, nets.. whatevers.. Small amount of Ted-hair removed from throw on lounge sofa – that's it, really! He doesn't moult much. I can't lift the throw up myself, but will get Mr LW to put it over the line when he gets chance.:o
Tidy up a cupboard/drawer or other storage vessel Tea cupboard tiidied up (yes, we have a cupboard dedicated to tea!:D It does have coffee and drinking chocolate in a corner, though)
    Level Three
Wash stinky pet bedding/clean tanks etc Ted's gone home now;:( tea cloth used for his bowls and extra towel loaned for his baths have been washed
Wipe doors and skirtings and paintwork Done what I can get to:o
    Binbag dance Done
    Extras
    1. Wash windows Done
    2. HHI.. or HH-something else if you do not I
    3. Tidy up your lists.. Toots, Frog, Christmas etc Toots and Frog lists tidied (was on a roll Monday – Mummy and Daddy frog and 24 tadpoles all dealt with!!) Meal plan done for next week or so. I don't do Xmas.
    4. Get those final bits sorted for back to school/work Done – Mr LW's work stuff all in order.:rotfl::p
Well, I tried my best, but I'm afraid I didn't get the HHI-substitute done (I don't I:D) as I simply ran out of time. I did make a loaf (in the BM) and a pizza for dins, too, though.

Shattered now; and nearly forgot my cortisone cream for my feet (won't do them any good if it just stays in the tube!)

Missing Ted lots *cries* but hopefully he's settled back at home by now.:o He certainly seemed to enjoy his holiday!
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Not managed anymore flying here but the joiner came and put the skirting on in our room...:D

Thanks toots we're over the moon and she can't wait to go. :j

Then i got a phone call from sister, her hubby and her are at the hospital. BIL has been hit on the top of the thigh with the head of a hatchet (he was out splitting sticks). He's all swollen up and on morphine, nothing broke but they think there could be bleeding between the muscles and he might need surgery.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

We had a physio appointment booked for Minion at 3.30pm.

At 1.55pm, Minion turned her upper body but omitted to follow on with her right lower leg.

The popping sound was audible from upstairs. She sat down pretty sharpish and I went over and completed her attempt to push her kneecap back to the front of her leg _pale_.

Off to physio and she took one look as sent us round to A&E.

    [takes great deep breath]

We finally finished at about 9pm after they had decided against an x-ray due to her recent back, pelvis and dental dosage,
then decided they would do one,
then asked someone else and booked a pelvic one in accordance with the paediatric limping protocol,
    then cancelled both,
    then rebooked one,
    then called for a porter,
    then went to x-ray,
    then did one,
then left her whilst they discussed putting her into plaster as they couldn't find a kneebrace,
then finally decided that in view of her scoliosis, a cast would put too much strain on her back,
so she should have tubigrip but no crutches as she was a child and would fall over,
then when I asked politely how I was going to carry her home when it has to be non weight bearing,
they eventually found a brand new set of crutches and tubigrip and made an appointment for Thursday in the fracture clinic.

    [gasp]

    AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

Vanilla - poor BIL! Sounds absolutely horrid!!!!

  • Hello,

Hope everyone is well and hugs for everyone that requires them. SharonR - I've been there too (the house not the back) in fact I am still partially there, but the support on here is invaluable, and sometimes I think you just have leave things for a while for the sake of your health. It's a good idea to get someone to help (although I have never taken this advice myself as I am too stubborn! ) I had a cleaner for a a couple of hours a week just after I went back to work after having DD1 - I found myself frantically cleaning and tidying the night before she was due to come!!!

Well I did OK today -
