Your shocking yous two! lowering the tone of the thread like that :D:D For once I slept in my bed and then went round to see him. I broke him 2 weeks ago :( His back went when he stood up to say goodbye to me, oh the guilt. He was bed ridden for the first 11 days......:( He's on the mend now though ;)

Been to Sainsbugs for my beloved Coffee as I'd run out..that shop really gets my back up, I always come back fuming ....filled the recycling bin, and put that and the normal bin out for tomorrow. Waiting for OH to hobble round now.

Sorry, I'm coming on for a moan. Been away for a couple of weeks and house is looking pretty darned messy. So, arranged for MIL to look after the little ones on Monday as I didn't have to work, and low and behold, my back gives out at the weekend.

Feeling really depressed as it's not getting any better and I feel like a useless piece of !!!!. Trying to carry my 9 month old about, change his nappy, etc is excrutiating. Had a playdate today but cancelled as no way can I get the children in and out of the car, and didn't want to invite them here as it's the pits. Life sucks.

Need hugs and a small miracle!
First the (((((((((((((((((hug))))))))))))))))) then the miracle ...well no I cant manage them but will bore you with some advice -the pain will tire you and depress you so you need to deal with it - and I know this wont be easy but you have to stop lifting LO until you recover - you will need to put him in his high chair or bouncer of something to give your back a rest - I am no mother so I wont be offended if you ignore me honey but you need to try very hard to stop carrying him around - I know he will scream but try to entertain him to distract him and hopefully he will adjust. You need to take pain killers to give yourself a break from the pain or you will get more miserable.
As for the house if you are not in too much pain while upright and walking then do light things like putting stuff away or in the rooms they belong - give yourself a challenge of finding as many things you can do without bending!!! then ask for help - its not easy to admit we are struggling but sometimes we have to give in - as greenbee suggested is there a friend that you could ask over for an hour perhaps to hoover or load the washing machine or MIL - maybe concentrate on the LR or kitchen so that you could have someone in. Chin up honey - I think IMHO if you get the pain under control you will feel better even if you cant do much.
