I've shouted DS1 once (he answered ) - more serious tactics are about to be applied!

bully DS1 into applying for jobs
laundry (lots, once DS1 is up, 'cos I need his stuff)
    e-bay parcels to post office
more e-bay stuff to NN's son
re-advertise stuff in free ads mag
research home insurance before bank phones back on Fri
    set up [STRIKE]diary[/STRIKE]/calendar
    de-flea cat
forms for OH (DVLA and permitted work)
nag DS1 to look for card wallets for Disney cards
    school to-do list
data work - WIP, almost done
[STRIKE]phone friend to ask if he'll check our car over[/STRIKE] sent txt as no reply
    [STRIKE]make dentist appointment for DS2[/STRIKE]
    check uniform for DS2
buy shoes for me x2 (and slippers)
    check my clothes for Monday
    contact DS2’s TA/childminder
collect DS1’s national insurance card (don’t ask)
    child benefit/tax credit phone calls
    sort folder for DS1’s certificates
    cancel two insurances (not needed)
[STRIKE]possibly return laptop/trolley bag if better at Staples[/STRIKE] have researched return to local shop (rather than trailing back to Castleford) and ordered much better (but more expensive :() replacement from @mazon. Avoiding a visit to Staples and the lure of stationary. :T
    haircut tomorrow
    doctor’s tomorrow
print DS1’s tickets for next week
    costco shop
    sort OH’s glasses
    collect OH’s prescription
    collect OH’s meds
sort OH’s prepayment cert for meds
    Euros for DS1
    Top-up shop today (need milk)
post letter to fellow flylady - waiting by the door for when we go out

Hi all...eaten a huge frog today think the teachers on here will approve..all LOs uniform named and ironed...just need to buy pumps and school shoes in the next few days...I am so dreading next week.....
:T:Twell done you, yes we do. He will be fine. Try not to be overly fussy (this is general advice not just aimed at you and I KNOW it's hard) when you leave him, you'll see him at the end of the day and he will have fun at school;).

Example of over fussiness. I accompanied the Y1 class on a day trip to Sudbury Hall - so still in Derbyshire;) and one mum was waving the bus off and crying. So what did we have on the bus? A little girl with tummy-ache and crying due to anxiety. Because she could see mum crying/being worried she believed that there was something to cry/be worried over - so she did. Lots of reassurance and she had a great day.

I have cat puke to shift.:(

Two more ebays posted *fling* two more will sell *fling* kitchen bin emptied *fling*

cat puke shifted - was just a case of a hungry, greedy cat scoffing too fast, I think. So funny. I laid in until 9:30. I move. Suddenly old cat appeared from under chair in bedroom (old dining chair with slip cover made by me 18 years ago; her cat bed fits under there, like a cosy little cat-sized bedroom!) while 'the kitten' appeared from DDs room - like little furry ghosts!

Was very good yesterday and gave the bedroom a level 3 clean.
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

Totally get the pain, Tramadol would def help, I have it 24h and it helps take the edge off, its non addictive too, perhaps try badgering the GP for it. Otherwise (if you havent tried it already) cold or heat pack?
Lots of gentle hugs and love to you. x

Cold packs, heat packs and hot showers. ;)

Sat on bum and coloured with DD and watched lots of DVDs! Going to try to get out today. Going a bit stir crazy.
  • Minion seems quite perky today, but is having to take things a bit easy with getting down the stairs and the like. Going to get her school socks and stuff today as the bus stops almost outside M&S. She looks like she's in danger of getting cabin fever otherwise. Oh well, at least the house is relatively disabled-friendly, so she doesn't have any problems with showering or suchlike.

There is next week's half mile walk uphill to school from the bus stop, but hopefully she will be used to things by then.

She is however delighted that she is now exempt from all forms of PE until further notice.

So glad she did her pit first :rotfl:

Hi Back from 15m in my bedroom, and ta da windowsill decluttered wiped down, only picures in pretty frames and candles have return to it. Must have been 3mm thick with dust - shows how low down the priority list my bedroom is!
Anyway the gloss work is shining again and its nice to look out of the window at the scenic view down the valley.

Ventured into the box room - after climbing over all the toys and filled my arms with toys DD hasnt played with for ages and brought them down for her to play on the living room mat. She is happily setting up wooden horse show jumping set while I go and make a light lunch.

Cant decide if I should go out this afternoon to visit mum and sis or mow the lawn while the sun is shining. Prefer to stay at home but DD wants to visit. WIll ponder that one. confused.gif
