Meat in a box delivered?

my dd has the muesli and loves it. I make my own. Riverford is very flexible and the above post sums everything up perfectly eg I don`t need any roots this week so have changed my order to a fruit and veg box. If I feel that I am overflowing with veg then I just get the mini. I have some milk from them every week too. Having the veg in really does make you eat better and tbh we eat more simply because the veg is so good just steamed. If all else fails then I make an all in one soup0

I've just started getting deliveries from them and am very very impressed, this week we ordered a small meat box alongside our (now regular order) small veg box.
[*]Do you have to order a veg box? If not is there a minimum spend? The smallest veg box is a mini at £7.50, we have a small at £9.50 at the moment for 2 of us.
[*]Do I need to set up a regular order? No my first order as a one-off as a trial, although I was so impressed I set up a regular order straight away!
[*]Is it sent on a specific day each week (the meat box I ordered through them before you chose the day for delivery yourself) For my area at least its every Wednesday
[*]Can I see my orders online once set up and can they be altered at all? Yes you can alter them online up to the monday night before I think, and online you can see what your next 4 orders will be (for example we'll probably be getting a veg box every week and a meat box every 3 weeks)
[*]If I dont want one item for example out the box will they be able to exchange if I email them? No I'm pretty sure that you just get whats in the box, although you can add extras to it. however they do have in advance what the likely contents of next weeks box will be, and I've found that it's made me try new things I wouldn't have otherwise thought of, like fennel and ruby chard, and I'm loving the cooking challenge!
Hth, I really really rate them as a company so far, I'm sure if you had any queries you could ring them up and they'd be helpful0 -
Just ordered my veg box for this week and had a look at their meat boxes, as I don't buy meat that often (I tend to live on the cheap stuff like mince and chicken breasts) I wondered whether they are good value?

Hi MissMuppet,
There's an older thread on riverford meat boxes that should help so I've merged your thread with it to keep all the replies together.
