At least you can prove it by using your statements hun, and if all goes to plan by the time you get to the bottom of the bank statements you will be drunk and not care, ta dar!
xx
Love it! have a lovely cold bottle of wine, no work tomorrow... will make dinner and then sit down and have a glass or too.....hic... cheers hun :beer:0 -
Thanks Aesop
I only bought it last Aug! It's been in for repairs 3 times since then :eek::eek: It's a Toshiba - I went for them over a similar model as I assumed that it was a reliable brand! :rotfl: I do think that I'd be able to it repaired again simply based on how often it's broken before now, never mind that fact that it's only 13 months old - I just can't go without a laptop for that long as (not only do I need my MSE fix each day... :rotfl:) I'm a student with the OU. I'm currently finishing my last essay of one course, and am starting my 2nd year of study next week, so will really struggle without it.
It's not been quite right since it was repaired last time (June, I think) and I'm not sure if a reboot would help, but I haven't got the time to do it - and if I'm honest... I can't be bothered with the hassle! I know I should, but will probably just leave it until it gets so bad that I can't bear it any longer, lol.
That wouldn't do any damage would it?!? By ignoring the problem?0 -
How annoying! Why do they want to return it? You know, you don't have to accept returns unless it's faulty. Oh, and if it isn't faulty you don't have to refund original postage costs, just the cost of the item.I'm not so sure this is right unfortunately.
I'm fairly sure that under the Distance Selling Regulations, so long as they notify you within a certain time that they want to return it, you also have to refund postage. Although you don't have to refund the cost of them returning it to you, which can sometimes be a favourite for grumpy buyers to try and pull, and convince you that you do.
Sorry I've not time to double check, so I might be wrong, but have a Google! (or wait for Aesop - I'm sure she'll know!!)http://pages.ebay.co.uk/businesscentre/law-policies/returns.html#change
Are you a business seller?
If not, and you did not sell the item on BIN, then you do not have to refund the customer. As goodwill, you may wish to, but you do not have to refund the customer posting back to you.
I'm not a business seller, but it only cost me £1.30 something to post as it's small so I'm just going to refund the whole amount to make her go away. She wants to return it because it's apparently nothing like in the pictures. I'm not really in the mood to argue with her about it, if she's not happy there's not much I can do. There was a bit of a bidding war the first time round so hopefully it will sell again.
Learnt alot of interesting stuff now though, thanks Aesop! And Monkeynun & Lolly.

Lol, just had to fish the letter out of the recycling bin for this reply
Tesco are aiming for a big price drop starting today, on everyday foods, bread milk eggs, fruit &veg ect, to help them deliver these lower price, they are stopping the double points and going back to 1 point per pound spent.
They are also scrapping the 3x clubcard voucher exchange, and going back to the 4x exchange.
