Write to the company you bought it from, tell them it is faulty again, and you have had it repaired 3 times in one year, and still not right.
Tell them that you cannot afford to be without one due to OU studying and cannot afford to buy another one, that the laptop should be fit for it's purpose and the expectation is that a laptop should last at least 3 years before being condemned.
That you would like them to replace it free of charge at no cost to you.

. They aren't the most honest/understanding/helpful company that I have ever come across :rotfl: So I can see myself having a huge battle to try and get anything out of them.
I'd probably have more luck with Toshiba, could I go straight to them, or would they just refer me back to the place I bought it from?0 -

But may need to have the OS reinstalled which is a pain.
sounds like they may have supplied you with a refurbished one.... but you cannot prove it

problem is you do need to take it up with Shop Direct as you bought it from them. You could try contacting Toshiba, but your contract was not with them. They may do it as goodwill.

Actually I didn't keep count of what I have been doing so far.
Want to start this challenge but want to keep track of what I do LOL...
Just did few cashback offers. I do Getpoundsback, Quidco, TCB, Ipoints, Ecasher, CashinBag, CB xtreme, Voucher extreme, FreeSnacks, quidscorner, speedcashback and few other cashback sites.So thats a lot to do.

and Aesop does it againvery MSE of you to print out the T&C :j . If it doesn't state specifically that you can only book for New York and Dublin, send a copy of the T&C's to Nectar and say if they do not award your points as stipulated, you will contact Justin King, their Chief Executive and the Office of Fair Trading. Keep a copy of all correspondence sent to them.
good luck.OMG one in the bag for the little people... have been trying soo hard to get my 16000 bonus nectar points which i should have had back in July, after your suggestion of contacting Justin King, i did this, his assistant gave me a link to the nectar support, i thought i would give it one last try informing them that if they didn't honour the points i would go to OFT and Watchdog, people who run nectar just called to say that they will honour the points as gesture of goodwill - although they still won't accept that the offer didn't relate to NY or Dublin....
