woohoo I have finally smashed my target.
I thought I was going to fail again but wohoo sent me an amazon voucher and I rang npower to see if I could change my tariff. They found me a better one and I will be £84 a year better off so I am counting this. So declaring now at at £371.41. If I make any more (very doubtful) I will put in Octobers target.
Well done everyone. September has been really good. See you all on the new thread.
PS This weather is wonderful and saving us money as I usually have the heating on by now

    Well done Aesop!

My day just got worse(and then much much better!)

The garage have given me a crummy old rover that they call a courtsey car with NO petrol in. The light was flashing as soon as I drove off so I quickly nipped into a forecourt and put in £5 of diesel(if they give it to me empty, they'll get it back empty!) After a few mins the car starts to chugg and I get a bit of a sweat on. It drives like a diesel, it sounds like a diesel and you can ride the clutch like a diesel! But I have an awful feeling its a petrol, its only just dawned on me that where the nozzel goes, it wouldnt fit properly! I've driven it home and have to go back out again soon, should I confess, ride it out of top up with unleaded?!! gulp!

Apart from that, I've just had my acceptance through the mail for the Virgin London Marathon 2012! :D:D

I would call them and tell them. They should have told you what to fill it up with especially as they gave it to you empty!

Ok I've just read that as I've put in less than 5 litres I can top up with petrol and it shouldnt be a problem. I dont want to put too much in though as its not my car, would they refund me the petrol cost? I know its cheeky as I've just filled up with the wrong petrol but times are hard! :D

you need to clear your cache and other stuff. Will give you a link in mo.

But may need to have the OS reinstalled which is a pain.

sounds like they may have supplied you with a refurbished one.... but you cannot prove it :(

problem is you do need to take it up with Shop Direct as you bought it from them. You could try contacting Toshiba, but your contract was not with them. They may do it as goodwill.

install ccleaner and use it to tidy up your comp.

Thanks for that :) I'm going to try ccleaner tonight if I get a chance and see if it helps, although I do think that you're right about it needing the OS reinstalling :( someone else has already mentioned it, so that might be something else to go on my to do list :(. Fingers crossed for ccleaner!!!

    Woooohhhhh, GO AESOP!!!! :j:j:j

Well I had a letter today acknowledging a complaint I sent in about last month's holiday. I gave them 14 days to acknolwdge the complaint and 28 days to resolve it, so that should bring some extra money in next month.
