    Hi all,

I'd love to get my teeth into this challenge if that's OK?

I have a bit of a mountain to climb and it's all about bringing in as much money as possible. I will only be counting the mula when it actually hits the bank/pocket.

Hmmmm, should I go all out on my first month?

    Yes I think I will...£10 for me please :D

Grab the bull by the horns-thats the spirit! :D

£8.94 for me today, a spot of ebaying. Surveys are slow atm, not much coming my way apart from GTM-Im not overly keen on that site, surveys crash and it takes soooo long! Should I soilder on?!

Hello to all the regulars sweetpeas, aesop etc.

hiya Hun :hello: well done on the good start :j very motivating when lots of people make a really good start to the month :j:j:j

I've got an update of £30 from my second income. Also sold some stuff on eBay but will wait till end of week when everything has sold so I know how to leave in for fee's, then can withdraw and stash the rest :D

Also posted some cd's to music magpie yesterday.. £16.01 on it's way to me but will count £15 as I'm having a 'paper stash' this month. (in fivers so it looks more... Yes I know I'm sad :o )

    Good nite everyone,

    sweet xx
  • Ok, well not a great start, but not a horrendous start either. Today I've managed £1.70/£150, this is £1.13 from surveys & 57p in loose change saved into my pot that would otherwise have been frittered away.

Any start is better than no start at all ;)

    sweet x

Ps nat.. One word... Christmas!! :D x
  • Very true sweetpeas! :A

Ha! Yes, that did the trick, survey loading as we speak....! When I think of christmas(as much as I love it) I get all edgy thinking how I will afford it. Then I remember all the pies I have my fingers in. Jack of all trades, master of none-thats me! :D

H Would be interested in learning about this daily free cash-back, but EL hasn't pmed me back yet. Any other ways of trying to get £5 a day?

EL has a new baby and has said she may not be around much these days. Post on the forum for Eager Learner's Daily Cashback and ask the regulars on there, which daily clicks they use and how to do it. They are a friendly bunch and should help you. Explain you are a newbie and EL hasn't yet contacted you because she is busy.

Have you looked at the Mystery Shopping Thread? There may be some of that work in your region.

I agree MS shopping is good. I only just started it but got a couple of payouts coming this month. Also doing another job on Saturday. I only ever agree to jobs that aren't out of my way tho, so like this one on saturday, its next to where i'm taking my daughter for her school shoes. So i just gotta pop next door, and i got an extra £8 quid to add to my total! :D

I don't get the daily clicks thing tho. Whats that all about? :o

PS....Hubby won £10 on a scratchcard today. But we haven't saved it. We have got ourselves a chinese to watch torchwood with. I think we deserve a treat, altho i now feel guilty for eating it! :rotfl:

:beer::beer: I agree!!! everyone needs a treat every now and again.

For me a treat is getting my haircut - especially when it is free, as it is one of the things I can no longer afford.

Glad you had a chinese and hope it was DELICIOUS!

Thanks, I hadn't thought of that :)! and I'm afraid I don't think Mystery Shopping is a valid option as to go to a shopping town I have to travel at least 15 miles, and I don't have my own car yet so thats out of the question. Thanks anyway though. Have given thanks.

    Daily clicks

basically these are on sites like cashback sites, topcashback, quidco, fatcheese, thincheese and a lot more.

The click could be something like the HighStreetWeb. You have to click on the link and it type in something in the search engine, ie scooters.

The theory is you will get paid (eventually) for using these clicks. Highstreetweb pays 4p on some sites, and there are other daily clicks. All search engines.

But the best way to ensure you get paid is to click right through to a product, all the way to a seller, it looks like you are a serious buyer.

The reason I say eventual payout, some companies take months to pay the company, before you get paid.

Some companies go under and you never get paid! :(

When EL set it up, it was worth approx £4.35 per day if you did all the clicks successfully. It has got less over the years. And if you go through a site like quidco, you have to pay your £5 admin fee first, before you receive your money, so be warned.
