I've just realised i've smashed my ebay target!! I was aiming for £2k for the year and i've just crossed that last week woop!! :j
it's all down to this challenge, it keeps me going even if i'm not around as much, it's always in the back of my mind
Think i'll aim for another £1.5k by end dec. now that would be very good!!0 -

Probably about £15 worth but, having just read the above, my rule is that I'm only going to count this as I use it - so, I'm currently cutting circles from it to put on top of jars of chutney, jam etc, which I'm taking out my stores and making up into a gift hamper for my friend's birthday this weekend. If I cut some nice fabric and tie it with string and a homemade label it all looks a bit less like something I found in the cupboard. :rotfl:I probably would have spent about £1.50 on scraps from the fabric shop, so I'm counting that as money in my purse.
No idea if that makes the slightest bit of sense to anyone else?:rotfl:
Hi SparklySaver! Makes sense to me, :rotfl: I recently decided i need a hobby so thought i would try and take up "quilting". Only thing is, i didn't realise how expensive the squares are! I haven't bought a single one tho. Been ordering fabric samples from places like John Lewis, lol. The other day someone of Freggle (formally freecycle) was offering some Laura Ashley checked curtains. I replied and kept my fingers crossed and was over the moon when i got the email saying i could have them! Only problem now is, i think they are too nice to cut up :rotfl::rotfl:
Anyway...back to money! £3 off a £20 spend today at Tesco (love those vouchers!). 8p road kill on way to Tesco (found by my 4 year old son who i have put in training, for everyone he finds he gets a haribo sweet when he gets in :rotfl:). 3p interest at bank, which only goes to show how little money stays in my account  . My best one for today is some money i saved buying a gift. Went to pick up my nephews Nerf gun from Tesco for his birthday. Website said it was £15. Anyway, went and found one in store with the £15 and it was half price, so a £7.50 saving! I could have spent another £7.50 on him to make it up to £15 but i didn't. He is only 7 so he won't know, and that £7.50 will be going on my electric metre. Believe me its gonna help, since i got paid 3 days ago and i now only have £8.25 left from my wages to last till i get my tax credits. Lol. So total for day 1 is £10.61p
Now...i have 2 suitcases full of stuff for ebay. The plan is to get loads listed tonight on 10 day auctions to they are seen over 2 weekends, so i won't look like i'm making much money between now and then but fingers crossed, in 10 days, i will have a nice lump sum to add! Thats the plan anyway:T
Will be adding a few things on 3 and 5 days auctions, but the stuff i know will sell in going on 10 days. All at 99p start prices so no listing fees, just final value fees. Now, time to get off my a*se and get some photos took!
Well done, and good luck to everyone! :T
Come on! Only 114 days till santa comes! :rotfl:Slimming World Challenge 2017 0/30.5lb

Well done Purple, I just can't get my stuff to sell! I got stuffed by a dodgy buyer who went around bidding on stuff with absolutely no intention of buying, a lot of neutral comments on his feedback! and then ebay notified me he was dodgy after I had already complained!
but everything else, just not shifting!0 -

:T Genius!! Why did I not think of this?!? Right, getting straight onto that for the Christmas hamper making. Thanks! :rotfl::rotfl:
I got replacement share of profit vouchers through from the co-op today (first lot never arrived but they re-issued them for me), so that's an unexpected £6.63 to add to the total since I'd forgotten all about it.0 -
Hello to all the regulars sweetpeas, aesop etc.
Well first day of sept and £14.67 has hit my account from Amazonia:j
Got my shop and scan up and running yesterday so hopefully will earn something very soon from that.
So thats my first for the month.
Sold 1 item on ebay last night but used money to buy packing bags so no profit there, but it was a needed purchase.
Best wishes to all.:)"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream"C. S. Lewis

Do you all count reduced items in supermarkets?
I got a few bits earlier which I would have bought anyway, so I'm presuming I can count the savings?

Hi Guys
I'm really glad I joined this. Spent an hour or so looking on topcashback for free cashbacks and already have £2.40 registered and some more to still appear so a good start!
I was wondering. Those of you that sell on ebay, what do you find is actually worth selling? I have a few dresses that I only wear now and again, but wouldn't want to sell them if a £50 dress is likely to go for £3 or something!0 -
Would love to join to!
£5 a day would be greatFacing up to my past & debts

Me too please! £10 a day is my goal
First thing I'm going to do....ring up my phone provider and tell them to reduce my monthly bill! Am sick of new customer offers being so much cheaper than what I'm currently paying! Long term customer and for what??
