Another £20 from "Quids-back cos you went through our affiliate site" payment!
Fairly sure I'll not be hitting £65.45 each day...but at least this gives me a weeks grace to get the ebay stuff listed and work out how to get the rest of the dosh this month!! Ha ha!!£10 a day in November = £593.31 / £3000 -
Hello to all the newbies! :j £10 a day, or even £5 a day always seems near on impossible when you first begin, but it is surprising how quickly it all adds up. There are loads of ways of making money, and even just doing a couple of surveys, or ebaying a couple of items each day will see a nice chunk of money at the end of the month. You can earn quite a bit if you put the time and effort in, so good luck everyone!
Well I have £1.19 (DTD) to get me started. Will try and get a few surveys done tonight as I've not done any for ages! I've also got DS1 sorting his room out so he will hopefully find me a few bits for eBay this weekend.Wild_Rover wrote: »I am counting this from next month though as it comes into effect from 1 October but could I have a "ruling" from an experienced monthly challenger!? As it is a monthly saving ....... can I include the £27 against the monthly target every month until the DD changes? I know it is "up to me" but I want to be consistent with others. I don't want to "cheat!"
Yes, you can add it. The only thing you may find with adding monthly savings is that it may make the challenge too easy. I've got deals on my mobile, landline, tv, broadband, etc, so if I added them all each month then I wouldn't need to put any effort into the challenges! I tend to add the first month as a bit of a bonus for getting the deal, but don't carry it on each month. This is only my way of thinking though, so you could always add it, and if it then becomes too easy just up your target each month.Do you all count reduced items in supermarkets?
I got a few bits earlier which I would have bought anyway, so I'm presuming I can count the savings?
Thank you xx
I would. I don't usually count savings, but if I go to the supermarket planning on buying something in particular then find it in the reduced section then I will add it as it's extra money in my purse that I wouldn't otherwise have had, IYKWIM.I was wondering. Those of you that sell on ebay, what do you find is actually worth selling? I have a few dresses that I only wear now and again, but wouldn't want to sell them if a £50 dress is likely to go for £3 or something!
I would say that anything you never wear is worth selling (even for 99p!) as it is only taking up space in your wardrobe. If it is something that you do wear every now and again, I would do a completed listings search on ebay to see how much it is likely to go for, you can then see if it's worth selling or not based on what you would get for it.0 -
Thank you Lolly x
Yay ! I can add another £4.07 to my total. Bought 4 lots of meat (3 of which were 3 for £10 but with the reductions I only paid £8.07 and a reduced chicken).Save £12K challenge 2015 # 173£0.00/£10,0000 -

Rang up my phone provider, told them I wasn't happy with what I was paying and demanded a reduction from £59.50 to £36 (they couldn't even justify why they charged me so much!!) So that's a nice saving of £23.50

2024 Weekly Cash Envelope Savings Challenge #030 -
I have made a start today with items that have sold on ebay. So £11,51 to add which Im happy about. I am running out of decent stuff to ebay though, my other half is worried about his belongings!
Going to have to get back onto the surveys.Make £5 a day in May £51.05/£1550 -
Hi I would love to join, only £5 a day though because I think I'll struggle to reach that! I'm a student who's been unable to find a part-time job in the local area. I'm currently doing as many surveys as possible which is providing some earnings, but not £5 a day! Would be interested in learning about this daily free cash-back, but EL hasn't pmed me back yet. Any other ways of trying to get £5 a day? I've been selling things on ebay, and have the last of stuff I can sell being listed sunday so hopefully that will help. My target is to get 1k to get a macbook for studying and leisure, in hopefully about a year
Thanks!

Hi all,
I'd love to get my teeth into this challenge if that's OK?
I have a bit of a mountain to climb and it's all about bringing in as much money as possible. I will only be counting the mula when it actually hits the bank/pocket.
Hmmmm, should I go all out on my first month?
Yes I think I will...£10 for me please£20 a day in May £41/£620 (previously £661/£600):beer:0 -
Ok, well not a great start, but not a horrendous start either. Today I've managed £1.70/£150, this is £1.13 from surveys & 57p in loose change saved into my pot that would otherwise have been frittered away.2nd Purse #036 £46.69/£50.00
3rd Purse £30.02
