Hi All
I'm doing really well so far this week, just £5.95 on cigs up to now. The thread is really helping keep my horrid habit in check...determined not to buy more than 3pkts a week...who knows I might even manage to give up altogether!
Total so far £5.95/£30

NSD today! Thankfully parents are visiting so have taken us out for food and paid for a new battery for my poor old car. So far only £17 but I feel that I'm cheating. I am never going for a £10 hair cut again though! I draw the line at that. My usual £25 is well spent.
Defently making me more aware of my spending on non-essentials.
*Update*
BBQ Food - £7
Haircut - £10
Posh Cheese - £3.69
Cleaning Products - £4.50
Total £24.19 / £40 - Yay! Under-budget but still spent more than I really needed too.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0 -
Totally blown my budget. No idea how much I actually spent but I have a week off work from tomorrow and I tend to spend less then.0

Hi everyone :hello:
Happy Saturday!
I am thoroughly in the red this week - I always lose all self control in pay day week, it's terrible! Although to be fair, this is DEFINITELY one of my more restrained ones, so I don't feel awful
I've updated the first post with results so far, although not many yet!! Hopefully you're all off on fun, money-saving adventures somewhere!
I'm still a bit out of it from my cold but the worst of it has blown over now, thank goodness! Wednesday and Thursday were the worst, my eyes were literally just crying, I had to sit in work with a tissure pressed to my face. All my make up came off and smudged and stuff, and everyone told me how awful I looked. Which obviously made me feel tons better! Not
Anyway, glad it's clearing up.
I've made myself a clothing budget this month, as I am in DIRE need of EVERYTHING. I kid ye not. I bought a few things from Mr T last night, but going through the till, I had added them up to be £48 total, and they were actually £33.50!!! I love it when they do that! Especially one thing, a lovely pink and purple stripey waterfall thin knit cardigan, it said £20 and wasn't reduced, and I agonised over it, then thought I can buy it, and return it if I change my mind. I love it, I just didn't want to spend £20 on one item! Anyway, it went through at £10! Problem solved! So I still have £34.89 of my special budget for clothes left this month (assuming I take nothing back that I have so far) so that means I can justify a trip to the mall!!! Yay! And get toiletries whilst I'm there too, which bizarrely I love! So I'm debating whether to go today or save it for another weekend. But it's so exciting to have a bit of money to spend!!! :j On "fun" stuff I mean!:rotfl:
Anyway, waffle waffle from me...
I'll check in later, have a lovely day all!
LC xx

Hi All
Still on track for this week. Had a small blow out in the local co-op yesterday (£6.38) on snacky, nibbly, naughty food.....rubbish for the diet!!So that puts me on £12.33/£30 but I've still got to get through Saturday yet so won't declare until tomorrow.
LC - glad your feeling a bit better, nothing like a little bit of 'budgeted' retail therapy to speed up the recovery process!!
MissLJays - sorry OH failed his driving test...2nd time lucky??
