Good grief moggins, you have made me laugh ... I had a sweatshirt once with the latin version of "Never let the barstewards get you down!" I think I need an early night!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
I'd just like to state, that naked Policemen are far, far, sexier than naked firemen ... the Police have extendable thingies that a fireman's helmet simply cannot compete with~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Kyle - I feel for you, we (well I) have battled with the doctors for over 2 years re DD about her breathing and having a huge family history of asthma - finally got taken seriously last week when DH took her. Got given the reliever inhaler straight away and has an appointment for next week to get the preventer one and to discuss things further. She's only 4 so not too sure I want her getting put on the preventer one yet (steroid based) think would prefer to see if we could managed with the reliever one as 1 of the doctors suggestedJoined slimming world Feb 2010

Squishy wrote:Got a craft catalogue through the post the other day (not that I need any encouragement!) and saw something called a 'loopa' advertised which is for making scarves - apparantly you can make a scarf in minutes. It was in with all the knitting accessories. Its' a whole 'no knitting necessary' thing like a hairpin for crochet, and you must just literally make loops together to make the scarf. Instructions come with it apparantly
I have to admit it looks quite fun and inexpensive - and would be safe in the hands of a non-knitter like me! (crochet is more my thing)
Oh well, we'll see what happens...all my family will know if I buy it if they all start getting scarves....watch out twink and kyle! :rotfl: Also saw too many things that just 'looked nice'
Is it anything like French Knitting?
I've just brought one of these off ebay after reading this thread on craftster.
I got it in the post today, and have been playing with it with some wool from the 99p knitting magazine. It's brilliant!! And really quick. I've lost patient with normal knitting, but this is really fast. You can also knit flat panels as well as tubes.0 -

Hi everyone, very late to the thread today:o . Yesterday I had a wonderful day, got loads done, partly cos DS has started going to the asc once a week, for various reasons, one of them being they are getting chocka and it was the only way to hold a place that I'll need in a few months time, by getting there first:p .
Today however, DH went out to work at 6.40am and returned at 7.40pm:rolleyes: . Managed to half tidy my bedroom. I plonked kids in bath tonight, went in my bedroom and heard a strange sound followed by MUM!!!. DD (3) had poured 800 pieces of lego into the bath  . Told her off asked her why she did it, cos her brother said so -"no I didn't" he replied -"I said I bet you daren't". . They then picked up lego and went to bed :T
Glad I'm back at college tomorrow0
