I can't help you in any way whatsoever I just wanted to say this is a disgusting situation you've been put in and I hope it gets sorted quickly. You might want to consider writing down everything that's happened so far and who you've spoken to, when and what they said just in case you need to take things further. Hopefully you won't need it but we are all aware of what ridiculous decisions are sometimes made.
You might want to also trying to get a copy of all the evidence and the form that you've already sent in just in case.
Best of luck for you and your family."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0 -

Should I add a few days of diary entries with the care or do you think we have enough?
I honestly cannot sing the praises of all the professionals involved in her care enough! They are all very busy people but have happily taken time out to help support us :T Fingers crossed we get the reconsideration without having to appeal now xx
The evidence from professionals involved in her care carry much more weight than anything you could write, have you read the evidence?
You need to read it and make sure someone hasnt put their foot in it while trying to be helpful before you send it off, send it registed and ring Blackpool to tell them it on the way to them for the reconsideration then if its is delayed they should still look at it before sending everything to the appeals service.0 -

Have read them all, there was one piece of outdated info on one report where her treatment was recently changed so I emailed and asked it to be updated. Can't see anything that challenges anything I put on the original form but will read through again
As soon as the dieticians report gets here I'll send it registered and call them.Thankyou xSlightly mad mummy to four kidlets aged 4 months,6,7 and 8:D:D xx

Fingers crossed when they receive this information they will see sense and give you and her what she is rightfully entitled to. Hope the next post you send is that they have reconsidered their decision and are in the process of arranging backdating. You must have a heart and mind of gold. GOOD LUCK.0

Just wanted to let everybody know that we got the brown envelope land on the mat yesterday. After me requesting a reconsideration the award for my daughter has now gone from lower rate care and no mobility to higher rate care and low rate mobility:j We're in two minds whether to appeal the mobility as the physio and docs reckon she should get higher rate but are worried about risking the current award tbh.Anyway!! PLEASE please please anyone who gets a knock back at first ask for them to look again. My daughters case here just goes to show that a simple thing like a new decision maker looking at a claim can make a huge difference.Thankyou for the support through this everybody xxxxSlightly mad mummy to four kidlets aged 4 months,6,7 and 8

Oh thank goodness, I was hoping that someone would see sense. Like you say yourself you have to feel for the people who just accept the decision made and "cope". I think you should fight for what you think is right but its your decision, I don't see why you would put the current award at risk but god knows!!"You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0

I have just read this thread from the beginning and cannot believe what the Dwp have put you through. I am so pleased to they have now awarded the correct amount for your child's care, if you can face it, it may be easier to appeal the decision for mobility now before new baby arrives.
Hope all goes well with your pregnancy. Well done.:j0
