Hello, it's me :hello: Churchmouse told me about all the kind people who had sent good wishes :Aso I'm just here to say Thank you!
I'm still very uncomfortable, but OH has bought me a cushion shaped like a Polo mint, so I can sit a bit more comfortably.
I'm not allowed to hoover for 4-6 weeks but I shall try to bear it bravelyDD1 is coming over to help, and OH has been buying easy-to-prepare meals as neither of us can cook a meal from scratch atm! And while I was in hospital DS has mended the falling-apart kitchen cabinet so that the drawers now work properly.
Been raining here most of the day with only a couple of short breaks. The cat is not at all impressed!
(((HUGS))) to everyone. Off now to read the rest of the thread
Best wishes

Yes I agree that you must take it easy Ivyleaf. Easier said than done though said she who had to be forcibly restrained from cleaning the toilets after a hospital stay last year:eek:
Cat - keep in touch whilst at your parents and we will all support you from afar xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Welcome Sparkleyshoes - love the name!
Busy day at work, work kids had mock interviews and most did v well and looked v smart.
Went to Drs late afternoon to have my first B12 jab, hope it works! Also today i listened to a segment from ydays Radio Wales breakfast show where a Dr from Aberwystwyth has pioneered a technique that cures 95% of his patients of vertigo. So I've emailed him to find out how I can possibly get referred to him. finger's crossed!
OS wise - WM will go on in a mo. dinner was from the chippy

Hope you get referred FB!
I feel much better now, sleeping really does cure everything. I feel like a prisoner in my own home though as the Landlord is STILL downstairs sorting the old tenants place out. After their email the other day i don't really want to speak to them.
OH is now fully on board moving and understands we are going to need to save, need to work out a saving plan. We've got to give 2 months notice on this place - or we can wait till our year lease is up and just not renew, financially i think we're best of waiting till the lease is up. which is april next year, not sure if i can wait that long though!Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Hope you get referred FB, have had a couple of episodes of vertigo myself and nothing worse than thinking you are walking straight and someone telling you that you are walking like someone who has had 10 pints!
Take it easy Ivyleaf...what a shame about the hoovering
Been raining all day here today, had to bob out from work so I could tax the van that we have bought, trouble with that is post office is nearly back to my house, so have done a lot of walking today, that was my excuse to buy a huge chunk of rocky road from a coffee shop that make all their own cakes, it was lovely, and so I didn't feel too guilty I got one for my workmate too.
Not really done a lot of OS today, just the usual tidy round, hoover etc before work. Since I got home I have done nothing...well it is Friday night
Still can't make my mind up which evening class to take, there isn't a lot of choice really, its a toss up between sugarcraft and creative writing, sugarcraft would be in my comfort zone, the writing might not be, but maybe I need something like that.
OH has gone to pick the above mentioned van up tonight and will probably be back in the early hours, this van is going to be an ongoing project for us as we want to convert it into a mini camping van. We have got the carpet to line it and apparently that comes under the craft heading so its my job :rotfl::rotfl:
Better stop waffling on now, enjoy the rest of your evening whatever you are doing xxxwhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine
