Nano Lite 4GB MP3 player

Just received one of these as advertised on Groupon.
Had a number of bits that were useful (speaker, in car FM link up etc) and the capacity of 4Gb was just what I needed.
However the build quality on the MP3 player and in car link up is terrible. Whilst I appreciate that £30 + £4.95 postage may seem excellent value, I don't have any confidence in this unit lasting more than a few months. Adverts say that rrp is £80 but I don't see it advertised anywhere else other than on deals websites like Groupon.
I'd be interested in other peoples views if they have received one.
For me a lesson learned. Cheap is not always good value. Have asked for a refund.

So... Bought a NanoLite through Groupon, ordered it as for what I was getting for my money was pretty amazing. I've been looking for a while about getting an mp3 to rid the issue off 100's cd's in my car so when this came up (also the fact I'm off on holiday in 7 days - mini speaker) thought may aswell. I've always used Groupon for Restaurant deals and been amazed but I must say I'm very disappointed. The FM transmitter for the car is terrible, no matter what channel I select it has a faint and analogue sound to it (MW radio style) To insult (thought sod it, I'll change my car radio for something with mp3 plug connect) the player will not recognise files. Hook up to my 1 yr old Toshiba laptop running windows 7, drag drop works fine, whole interface is great, but NanoLite says no files??? Hooked back up and says already there when I tried again? Looked at files on the player and all files reading from mp3 fine through computer, however I found albums I've never seen!!!!! Thought this was just me but I disconnected the player during playback through one of them and it stopped saying device removed!!! Surprised as it came just like brand new. I've emailed them for a full refund I hope that this is just a glitch and not a trend to come.0

Item has not turned up yet over a month later, company ignores emails have now emailed Groupon and said that they can either refund me or have the item turn up in 7 days if neither happens im getting my credit card company to do a chargeback.0

Is this the MP3 player deal that you mean? I was thinking of getting it too - the colours drew me in
I'm glad I didn't now though because it doesn't sound too good

Those things are Chinese OEM garbage.
For the same price you could get a Sansa Clip+.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

Not happy with my purchase. Received on 20.09.11 and can't upload any files. When plugged into to laptop keep getting told USB Device not recognised..... tried 3 different laptops/computers and still doesn't work..... Very disappointed and have contacted The Box Network who supplied this but still waiting on a reply. Prefer to get my money back and definitely wouldn't recommend to friends or family!!!!0

Well... I have got the Nanolite MP3 and it works fine, I have downloaded all my MP3 files from my PC, and added new ones via various methods no problem at all. Ths sound quality is OK for the price and as long as you adjust your settings when doing files it is fine. Haven't tried the car thing yet, but for "shuffle" usage when I am out and about it's absolutely fine.0

My speaker broke after 2 goes, the case was smashed, the build quality of all the items was appalling, the Nanaolite did not work at all! I'm very disappointed with the product and I'm trying to procure a refund as we speak. I've posted more about this including pictures of the damaged product on my blog at kkdesign.co.uk! Hope every one gets a refund for those that try.0
