Returned from a lite spend day at Whitstable with some good mates - nice to return to old haunts again. Number 1 priority tonight has to be to get the Kindle stuff sorted out - as I won't have any ebay nonsense tonight - the bids all end late tomorrow.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

We came to our senses and stopped the boiling. Boiling has no place in our Fridays - the evening when the horrible burden of the week should be lifting. Boiling and Dolmio would just grind us further into the ground and make everything seem worthless.
Luckily the Co-Op had a good 2for1 on pizzas for the kids and Mrs B got her curry and extras for a few quid thanks to another special offer. And Lindeman's Shiraz was half-price. It would have been rude not to.
I know my BMI and total debt will suck in the morning, but rather a sucky Saturday morning than a lame Friday night. Forgive us our trespasses against the MSE doctrine but we Bloaters are mere beginners at this game....
Boiled Pasta is one of our favourite meals, with it we have homemade tomato sauce and chicken breast sprinkled with some garlic salt and fried in fylight (olive oil if not trying to diet). Sauce is simples the original recipe called for tinned toms but I confess I do use fresh. So whichever toms you use, I then add chopped onion, chopped red pepper , and chopped celery (if I don't have pepper and celery you can just make with toms and onions). To that I add 1/2tsp sugar (brings out the flavour) garlic, basil, mixed herbs, salt and pepper and most important dried chopped chillis (I use about 1tsp). Cook this with lid on for an hour or so on low heat, remove lid and reduce. Serve on bed of pasta, topped with chicken. Love it.
I must admit, I do like to cook things for hours which strictly speaking may not be moneysaving but it would still be cheaper than a takeout and tastes so good.£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far
+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.

Bloody hell this moneysaving is not easy - am just about getting the hang of ebay now, but now have a new adversary to do battle with: Kindle. I am being asked for my routing, IBAN and BIC codes. Guess I'm going to have to call the bank tomorrow. And talking of Bic - that darn pen has totally vanished from the house again just when I wanted it to poke my own eyes out after looking at the formatting criteria for Kindle submissions.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Some banks now show this info on your bank statements - BIC may show as SWIFT code though.:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Quick update: was up til really stupid o'clock sorting out writing - reckon I have enough stuff for about 4 e-books, which would clear the slate of all my legacy matreial and give me some space to develop new ideas - resulting brainfade meant I slept through running slot and until an unheard-of 8.30am. Delisted all but 25 of my records on ebay cos don't want to spend all night packaging tonight - over £100 of bids for them so far - insert smiley here - and today's panning out to be crazier than ever because it has been declared official 'Let's see what's really in all those cupboards upstairs (what? those cupboards we never open? yes, those cupboards) day'. It's not a regular day in our house. Fingers crossed.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Decided instead that we would celebrate the traditional Dystopian holiday of ST. CEMIT (Sod That, Cram Even More In There), and now our downstairs is looking like an institution about to graced with a royal visit and our upstairs cupboards are even more full of the horrors that are yet to be unleashed until we do a boot fair.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

I think that pen is frightened of you!
Maty mentioned about this banking info being on your bank statements - it might be on your online page too, if you don't have statements easily available (cos of shed tetris)

I was thinking the same - dont be a slave to the packing thing - my listings state that I will post within 2 days - gives me a bit of lee way - I also collect stuff up as it is bid on and 'half pack' it -sometimes one buyer will purchase 2 or 3 items so I dont seal them until payment received. I send everything reorded and have a stack of lables from PO so that bit already done when I get there.Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
