    Hi clareski,

If it definitely is a grease mark then add a couple of drops of washing up liquid directly to the stain then wash in the normal way and that should get rid of it.

I'll add your post to the main thread on grease marks on clothing so you can see all the suggestions.

I use talc to remove grease just rub it in to the stain and then wash it removes stains such as cooking oil splashes on clothes.

Hi all, one of the kids has got butter on a t-shirt. The shirt has been washed and the stain seems to have washed in. Is there anything I can do to get the grease out?

    Thanks.

Apparantly spraying WD-40 on stains gets rid of them ?

I use washing up liquid or star drops on stains as well

I'm so annoyed, I've got a big olive oil stain on my top. It soaked through my pinny. I've had a look on google and so far have put a bit of flour over the stain and rubbed in some washing up liquid. I'm going to throw it in the machine now. Do you think I'll be better with biological or non bio? Thanks.

    Bio will be best.
  • Hi All

Any idea how I can get rid of greasy marks from T-shirts? Seems everything I own is covered in little splodges (something to do with the washing-machine, perhaps, cos I'm not such a messy eater!) Even Vanish and Stain devils don't work too well.

    Thanks, Ecky.

I give the greasy mark a squirt with ordinary washing up liquid, work it into the stain with my fingers and then wash in the machine as normal.

It's never let me down yet :).
  • Thanks Olliebeak, I'll give it a try!
