Hehe, i was wondering where you got your figures actually, and when you mentioned 250 primary units per quarter it hit me, you were looking at the wrong table.

My confusion still stands though, on the CORRECT(:P) table the primary unit prices are just silly.

They do look cheap as a single figure but you need to look at the broader picture. only way to tell if this is a competitive tariff is to enter your details on a comparison websites

Correct, I work for an energy company and compared to what hey do... it's well out of their league.

I've worked it out based off my consumption, and even with my high consumption, no other tariff comes close. I just posted it here to see if my findings are wrong.

15.48 for primary units(900 per year) and 12.80 for secondary units. Nearly 10 units less for primary units than all other companies that offer fixed tariffs around 2013.

Anyone find a tariff to beat this?

So is M&S energy more reasonable than the likes of EON?

I too got the letter advising of charges increase and some v confusing literature to advise of the different charges for different regions.

I don't want to give exact figures, but im going to work it out at the average annual usage before i say anything. I'd rather not look stupid. I thought at first I must be doing something wrong because it's too cheap.

My eleccy usage is quite high, around 11,000 kw per annum and gas is low, only 3,000 per annum( i'm never here during winter so no need to turn heating on). :j

Well this is what I want to find out. The primary units are too good to be true. There must be some clause in the contract or something, but all I could find is 70£ fee for terminating the contract early.

Based on them usage figues EDF fixed price 2014 is over £150 per year cheaper in your region

    Correct,

(that the only way to work it out is to use a comparison site)

I looked and M&S is not listed. Could that be because they have asked not to be listed?

If so, whyever not, what have they to hide (if your gut feeling is true)?

Well this is what is worrying me...

I was hoping someone may know more than I. But if gazjoneswales is correct it isn;t even the cheapest anyway.
