I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas and got lots of lovely stuff from Santa.

I was in bed til 3pm (tramp I know) but in my defense I did cook the entire Christmas meal as furnished by FF! The velociraptors ate the lot, there were 3 chipolatas left and with Husky around that did not a satisfying meal for 2 make - regardless of what anyone on OS board may say!!

Need to sort out my tax bill - bad I know but money's there, just need to do cheque and pay last invoice from Chip-Pan House.

New Year Resolutions...need a list and that should include reduction in porkiness. Think I'll join Chev and Bloater but my 4 will all be lard. And I can sign up for the Dragon Boat Racing from the hospital when I go in on the 17th.

Lawyer Boy is def dumped me, he's well gone. Truly don't understand that one, but hey ho, New Year means fresh start and no crying over spilt litigators.

Any thoughts on other fun / useful / beneficial activities for 2012?

Sorry to hear about lawyer boy. Maybe he is 'thinking' or something. Glad that xmas meal went ok. And good luck with the interview if I don't get on tomorrow. Do join us on the challenge. I am wondering how the heck I am going to do it, but I will at least try. Still full of cold today, so no walking up a volcano for me. But at least I might try for a little walk round the block, as that is better than nothing surely?

I got the humungous amount of fruit and veg required for the Jason Vale diet. We're starting Friday. Sent pic of my disppeared dining table to LB to show I'd done it as discussed and then had a thoroughly boring conversation about the dietary benefits of Manuka Honey. Allegedly it will also revitalise my ailing system so anything's worth a shot. I think he may prove to be hard work and look disparagingly on SB's attempt to include liquidised Flakes in his smoothies!!

Onwards and upwards again dear friends.

Juice Youself Thin...recommended by LB because it mentions chemo and radio therapy and the fact this can help (can't see how it could hurt truth be told). And not because I have a huge lardy !!!!! (yeah right).

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Juice-Master-Yourself-Slim-Healthy/dp/0007267142/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1325096791&sr=8-7

So I've signed up with Chev and Bloater to shift the lard but mainly as a by product of getting fitter again, building up some arm strength again (when I'm allowed before everyone starts smacking me) and trying to be in a fit state to do radiotherapy.

It's quite hard to constantly have to pick yourself up and feel better to know you've got to turn up to be smacked back into the ditch again. Your sig says it best Beanie, "Fall down seven times, stand up eight". With chemo, surgery and radio it comes to "Fall down 33 times, stand up 34". I'm up for the 9th time!!

Making a list of stuff to do in 2012.

Does anyone remember that site where you could create a giant list and tackle over 1000(??) days?

    Google suggests this: http://dayzeroproject.com/

I'm still feeling like p00 on a stick at the moment petal, so not sure if I will make it tomorrow. Took slightly too many Sudafed last night and didn't get to sleep until after 4am (they must have whackloads of caffeine in them!!)
