Hello and thank you all for all your lovely messages and support.
FF has been a superstar :A
Long story short...got the operation I wanted, one and half times
As FF said it was all a roaring success, more black permanent marker on me than a Royal Mail parcel and the nicest team imaginable. My own en-suite room (wooo go NHS) and unbelievably little pain...just felt like a good kicking (not that I've ever had one :rotfl:).
Got out last Friday at 5pm, re-admitted at 8pm, emergency surgery at 10pm. A blood vessel had gone pop due to the little known medical condition described by the surgeon as "you must have gone jiggy jiggy"!
Well everything is fine now and will heal exactly as planned. Staff were brilliant and very kind, even when I was a quivering coward.
PS If anyone gets spare veins for Christmas please feel free to forward to me...definately none left now:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
