Thanks Elanatan. I like structure and control. It would be good to get folks ideas and feelings if that becomes the road. Even little things to getting rid of more intimate letters or ideas you don't want your children or strangers to see.

I do think of Taxi most days. She didn't get this opportunity as it was so fast. Xx

  • I agree, not morbid, just practical. SB will be fine as he has had a wonderful role model thus far, but it can't hurt to get support rallied for him just incase, and give yourself peace of mind.

Fingers, toes and everything else crossed that it turns out to be an unnecessary contingency plan though. Wishing you all the luck in the world for Monday. Xx

A plan is always good for anally little whackjobs like me.

We will get through this one and all.

2014 will be our year (not that I said that about 2012 and 2013 as well lol).

Oh a fridge is packing in again, also for 3rd time.

Hmmm about 3 or 4 years. Only extended warranty I've ever taken out so they were out in June, September and as soon as I can get then. Always fridge side that goes but sick of having to bin fridge side contents.

Plus I need a cool home for certain meds, including morphine, so wanted fixed ASAP.

I've a Husky fridge out in shed so SB will bring that in again tomorrow. Handy for milk and stuff and now meds.

Need to cancel flights and hotel for Wednesday too. Will add that to Tuesday mind-map right now. This is one of the bits I hate, my cognitive function turning into slurry

I'll drop you a wee text later in the day Elantan. I see an Olympic sized checklist being drawn up to keep me on the straight and narrow. Was using the reminder system on my phone but has been pants since iphone upgraded their software

Kissjenn I'm sorry you need a plan but I think it is a good idea. When my aunt was diagnosed, the McMillan nurse suggested something similar, and it helped my aunt to feel in control during a time of uncertainty and sadly when the time came it helped us enormously.

Lets hope its a plan you don't ever need xx

  • I think it's a great idea to have a plan in place :) how has SB taken the news this time is he ok? X

Have a lovely day (with lots of rest and no sickness) xx
