- it may be worth a quick look if you have one of those. All I know is they are beige, 180x130, 6 controls, machine washable at 30* with an auto shutoff after 3 hours or detachable from the power source. Does this sound the same?

Fabulous. We've one very close by so will have a mooch tomorrow. Thank you.
Elanatan - We had a TARDIS in the town I grew up in...must scuttle by and see if it's still there.
Alex - the old bat was practically salivating at the thought of a juicy slashing. Talked about a case where wife caught hubby in bed with another woman and killed him - was this a crime of passion?
Absolutely says she.
Then in transpires that woman had left the bedroom, walked down a flight of stairs, went to kitchen, picked largest knife in the house then retraced her steps and stabbed him. Still a crime of passion?
Old bat - I wouldnae hae wasted my breath. I'd hae stoved his heid in wi the bedside lamp and then smothered the bar steward wi the pillow.

What are you to be looking at next term?2018 totals:

Real mix of quite heavy stuff
Rape
Domestic violence
Theft
Fraud
Cyber crime
Forensics
Police procedures
Genocide
Pretty much every nasty thing that we do to each other.
But we have the old bat plus others to provide the "wow" factor.
I really want to be able to attend but works ramping up and I'm back (slowly) travelling again...I shall try to be creative:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
Went for check up and pre-op assessment today came back with Cancer Episode 3 - Return of the Crapi.
So biopsies are done and scans booked for Thursday. Monday the 16th is staging and surgeon has booked out afternoon of 23rd December to operate, in case that's the route chosen the previous Monday. Oncologist doesn't want to try anymore chemo. Radiology will be asked whether or not they can get a clean line of site given the proximity of the last 25 doses (they can't touch).
My fault for saying I'm bored with it...the Gods gave me a new one

Gee whizz woman, youre going thru it ! What some people will do to get out of cooking christmas dinner !
Tell that surgeon to cut all the bad stuff away, get a quick zapping of microwaves, and get on with your life. Fingers and toes crossed its all a mistake anyway and the biopsies prove negative.
Good luck missus kissjenn xIts just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0 -
KJ - bah.
That's certainly not the news you'd be wanting - best angry face forward and roar at the beast.
Like Mara says you'll at least get out of cooking the dinner for a bit.
Hugs and lots of them dear girl.
xx
PS the wifey with the bedside lamp - scary biscuits. Though it did make me giggle I'd not have the where with all to carefully retrace my steps if it were me.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Thank you both. Irony is Christmas dinner is arriving via Asda on the morning of the 23rd. SB has spotted the clash and suggested I get a taxi to the hospital as he doesn't trust Grandad with the turkey!!

I am so sorry to hear about the cancer, KJ and really hope a mistake has been made or the doctors can clear it once and for all. Can't say I really know what to say at all and am very aware this is inarticulate.
However! The new Criminology term sounds like it may hold plenty of laughs (at the old bat, not at the crimes committed).2018 totals:

Thanks Alex...no mistake unfortunately but no waiting time for appointment this time. I went in to have a quick check and end up with diagnosis.
Well no travelling for a bit so Criminology and Choir will still be on the agenda.
