Didn't mentioned the mahoosive shopping from ASDA did I.
It seemed rude not to use the multi delivery thingy I bought last time and let them cart 15 tonnes of puppy and kitten grub into my kitchen :j
Agent took me to lunch today which was lovely. She's great and we had a nice chat, filled up totally and shared a sticky toffee pudding
Spent the afternoon trying to stay awake

Well Halloween's been and gone. Only two kids to the door so somebody has to eat the Haribo :rotfl:
Home sharp tonight as about to head off to see the accountant. Hopefully goodish news about tax bill this year, surely it can't be too much given I've been off for all Feb and March.
I ordered some Christmas presents online during the week and they've started to arrive. Got Grandad a new electric duvet and promptly gave it to him. Seemed daft to hold on to it for two months when it's winter now, so he'll get wee things to open on the day.
I have been practicing my singing but I'm finding it very hard to reach the higher notes. Putting it down to chemo...nothing to do with lack of talent.
Got the October invoice in already. So that's another chunk of time towards my target. If I can work 90% of November I'll have done it any time I do in December will be a bonus.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Well £12k tax bill but the money's saved up so that'll be paid over in January.
Can also take a dividend to pay off remainder of mortgage so I'll do the paperwork for that on Monday. Means offset to mortgage will be at 100% by end of November.
That's something to celebrate when it happens. :j:j:j
Next target will be to get 13/14 and 14/15 cash ISAs filled so that'll take about £11k. But mortgage and Christmas first methinks.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -

We're getting there Alex.
Always good to get the annual accounts done. Just the personal tax to be settled next.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
Those tax and offset figures are great! I researched a good ISA to open this year, started it off exactly as per Martin's recommendations, but then forgot to fill out the ongoing direct debit, pah! Means I've lost two grand of interest at the higher rate, but I'm constantly transferring money between accounts to get the best deal, can't get it all right all the time, I suppose.
Hope you enjoyed those Haribo2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Wow KC that must have been some isa if you've lost 2k of interest in 6 months! Any hints on where that one is. I've a 1 and 2 year fix coming off in April plus this years plus next still find homes for. It all gets very confusing some days.
Did first aid with SB who seemed to be enjoying it by the end when he got to bandage my head!
Lunch at Loch Fyne, very yummy but jeez it hit my wallet. Special treat place I think.
Then new Thor movie and I fell off the wagon in Waterstones. I like books far too much
Did some caterwauling practice when I got home til SB begged me to stop as his ears were bleeding. Youth of today pah!!:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0
