Hello Kissjenn, :hello:
Sleep has fled, so taking the opportunity to catch up.My hair is slightly peaked now...like the baby chicken in foghorn leghorn minus any colour or style.
Stuff it, if this is the thing that's worrying me most then life must be pretty good really
..Excellent attitude!
Dogs and bolognaise sauce: Think tomato flavour may be the problem.
Daft Dogs 'inherited' about twenty tins of sardines in sauce when I cleared out Dad's cupboards. Presented with this delicacy, three dogs sniffed but then wandered away looking disappointed. Meanwhile Number Four hoovered up each portion as fast as she could (mind, that particular hound would eat anything edible except raw onions!).
Had to wash off all the tomato sauce before the other dogs would assist with m' de-cluttering effort.
Re convicted life-termers. Think a good case could be made for those with no hope of release, who admit their guilt and wish to die, to be allowed to do so while performing an act of contrition - donating their body parts to the transplant programme.0 -
Hi Robin,
Good thought on the tomatoes. She does love it but only if a good chunk of pasta is involved to temper it a little.
I like the thought on convicted killers being allowed to die in exchange for body parts. Definitely has B movie potential as the killers heart start to beat in the chest of the pretty young novice. Can she stay pure and innocence as malevolence pumps through her veins? Can she fight the urges of the Satan within?

So homemade chilli tonight. No jars left of chilli sauce so added tin of toms, carton of passata and two tins of barbecued baked beans to a pound of mince. Large teaspoon of paprika and two large teaspoons of chilli powder...jobs a good un. Whole pot plus rice under a fiver so happy with that.
Did tonight plus tomorrow for SB plus grandad got a big bowl too.
No additional ingredients (like kidney beans) purchased as I just used what I could find.
I've moved another £12k to the mortgage so this time next week, un-offsetted amount should be about £14k. Still on track to hit end of year target of 100% offset. But I have to admit to being very tired.
Favourite district nurse popped in to see me today just to say hello. He's a brilliant guy and stayed over an hour. He's coming back next week as he's concerned that the hospital aren't going to track me properly...makes me so grateful for our NHS.
Off for reasonably early night as still not sleeping wellbut works going well and hopefully boss is happy. Over half way on my 64 day challenge as today is 34 down, 30 to go :T:T:T

Alex...chilli was yum I have to say :j
Beanie...I'm a lucky girl
Rising...yes please
Elli...bummer bummer bummerProbably not appropriate but this is why I hate the whole Positive Mental Attitute carpola. Taxi has a great attitute, is a wonderful person and the evil, barstewarding thing comes back. It's indiscriminate, it's uncaring, it doesn't care if you're a saint, a sinner or something in between. I hope they get the pain under control now that they've confirmed what it is.

Your's was much more impressive. Duck v mince isn't really a contest :rotfl:
Met up with a friend this evening. She works round the corner from one of our offices so I spent the day there and had a lovely catch up.
SB finished off chilli for lunch and had to content himself with ham pieces for dinner. Kittens didn't see much mumphing in that
Speaking to boss to ask for more work tomorrow. I spent today transcribing all my notes from the last 7 weeks into various action logs and packs. Not one email, action or activity outstanding. This is not how I work, I like a mad house:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0
