You're supposedly a third year

Why do you find the need to make it personal?

Considering that I am taught nothing at uni in a way that I understand. As a result of that, when I have tried reading more there is no point as I have no clue because they do not even teach the basics right.

I lay the blame for me not doing well at uni complete at the door of uni that does not have enough resources or monitoring to be able to assist students.

Many are reading papers for the first time to teach them (from what I can tell) and often if you have a question they point you to the Head of module.

They are not paid to do your follow up - just to deliver the session. To be fair, poitning you on elsewhere is the right thing to do, else outside of the session they are working for nothing other than good will...

    That's rich!
How many times have you criticised academics?

There's a few of us on here that might take that personally.

So you would rather they made it up, or to actually do the responsible thing?

I am not critical of anyone here personally.

Clearly the university system has failed me and I take issue that I have not been taught right, but that is not personal against anyone here.

They should know if they are getting paid to teach you-- that is not unreasonable to expect I dont think!

They are getting paid a fraction of a lecturer...

You could argue that you get what you pay for...

So you just get cheap underqualified staff then. That is a bit rubbish to say how much fees are.
