Tesco misprice discussion area part 17

My first post so please be gentle!! As a manager at tesco I can only pass on what I have heard and that is that at 1 of our meetings today store manager told us that r&r would be replaced by double the difference in around 2 weeks!

I actually think Tesco attack the high street a lot. take the little sleepy villages of Haslingden and Rawtenstall a short strech of road seperates 2 tesco stores the road as a roundabout at each end and on oposite sides of each roundabout sits a tesco.

The Haslingden store is pretty new and was a former DIY store. In Rawtenstall, Asda built a new store up the road, tesco have moved in to the old store so there are now 2 stores about 1 mile from each other how petty is it that tesco buy the old asda so none of the other supermarkets can get in to the town.

sorry not picking an argument just think its strange people come on as 1st posters and normally post drivel like that
if it's correct then fair play. at least we have had someone we know in the know tell us thanks
