Yes...I was joking...........but to be honest.....you only know what Spa wants you to know..........we're talking about him/her as if he/she isnt there/hereCouponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

What I think would be interesting is if just 10% of us r&r's were to reject the goods BEFORE paying, ie I have a trolley full of shopping, being the moneysaver I am I have of course calculated the total cost to the penny let's say in this case £112.47 however having scanned the last item the total shows £112.49 (those damned psp games always 2p!!) as I can clearly see that I am about to be overcharged I challenge the transaction and reject the goods as being overpriced. Now Tesco is going to have to 1 return non perishables to the shelf and 2 destroy perishables (well in most cases but in practice often replace them in chillers/freezers etc).
This will have several results
1 A smug grin on my face
2 An employment opportunity for those unemployed mser's who are interested.
3 A direct cash cost to Tesco
4 An inderict cost in man/hours management of rejected goods
5 Lots of delays at Tesco checkout as the craze spreads :rotfl:Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

There are always choices other than Tesco. For instance, market days for fruit and veg (generally MUCH cheaper) and butcher shops (generally better quality and not much more expensive).
What has effectively happened is that we have paid Tesco to screw up our towns and villages and now it's moving back in.
Sorry to say this but your post quoted above is total and complete tosh.
I started a thread on the http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=276739 a while ago and comments showed that actually far from being Tesco who has supposedly destroyed the high street the actual people at fault (if there is any fault - personally i think it is natural progression) are actually the general consumer.....they are the people who make the choice to pay 27p for a pint of milk and not 50p?? from the milkman or any of the thousands of products you can pull out of a hat as a comparison.
Also interesting that you target only Tesco and no other large retailer...how about dixons killing off the electrical retailers or halfords destroying the local cycle shops....not such easy targets perhaps?Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!

I couldn't agree with you more. We are not fortunate enough to even have Market days for fruit & veg (local council won't allow) and I do support my local butcher. In my opinion Tesco have sweetened SO much for the council they are practically running the show!
Whilst R&R is alive and well I will continue to use the policy, when it's over it's over .....pinkpinkfizz
