There are people on here from Tesco at various different levels with different access to information and as yet none of them have seen anything relating to the demise of the refund policy. .

Don't shoot the guy (or gal) down in flames, they are only telling you what they know!!!
Looks like most of the people from Tesco have seen something related to this already..........................

Got called in today by my Gm and he stated that I would need to look and digest the new RR policy, which is being changed due to in part this site.
If you really do work for Tesco, and your managers really read this site, then they would have read some of your earlier posts and you would be out of a job.
Please don't waste our time with this fantasy.
    Can I help?

Well i've managed to get my 2nd R'n'R today (first was yesterday) so i'm happy :) bought a heap of shampoos and conditioners again, about £8 worth (they were BOGOF, or half price, or reduced). Turns out the half price ones were an outdated SEL so got full refund :)

double the difference is still good i guess, but tesco is a bus ride out of my way i'd just not bother so often, especially since i'm all outta vouchers now :rotfl:

I would not so sure about this being fantasy, rd.
Who or what was I before you came in to my life
    I am not sure
  • I've always seen Constantine to be sage, fair and just in her advice from T's. And I would deduce from her post that there could be truth in what's being said.

I do think it's a shame that I did not spot this earlier when the pickings were rich, at this rate I think I will miss the boat for even my first R&R. Never mind that's life eh, all swings and roundabouts!

Even with a double the overcharge refund though, it still shows goodwill from T's in trying to apologise for the mis-pricing.

    PUT THE FLAME THROWERS DOWN!!!!!!!!

It IS true, and it IS happening.
I know there have been and always will be idiots telling Mickey Mouse Bull***t stories on this thread, but this one is 100% genuine.

At the end of the day the business has given away over £8,000,000 worth of stock in the last year to people abusing the policy (and no that doesn't mean everyone is abusing it..)

I don't think that we even managed to raise/give that much to our Charity of the Year this year
:T :T So maybe it's a good thing to change (or should we carry on and everyone could sell the stuff they didn't have to pay for and give the money to someone who might deserve it a bit more than us 'priveliged ones':T :T

How much have they taken in mis prices that people havent noticed? ?
  • Can only assume based on the misprices of the past that with the 'new' policy, staff will probably become a little more relaxed and there will be plenty of similar misprices to that of the Indiana Jones boxset whereby the overcharge was in the region of £20...double the difference would be almost £40 ..thankyou very much Mr T :p
