Constantine, do you know when the DIY section will be reduced, as I guess it will be like the Jan Sale stuff as it has a hurry sign next to it and will start selling it half price. I wouldn't mind a some cheap power tools!

Sorry I am not Constantine.....The DIY event finishes on 21.02.07 so expect some reductions just before then, however some of this range is standard stock so will not be reduced.

This is getting really boring.....people making these posts with no evidence and no source.

Thanks for the information jobnockey but please unless you have something solid to back it up keep it to yourself because it serves no purpose other than to cause trouble.

There are people on here from Tesco at various different levels with different access to information and as yet none of them have seen anything relating to the demise of the refund policy. If you have seen different, please send me the info so that i can brief those in the store that i am in.....many thanks.

  • Yup,

Can confirm the refund policy is gone from 19th Feb.
You will now only get double the difference of the overcharge.

The reason cited is 'abuse by people subscribing to money saving websites'

:D I think EVERYONE saw that one coming.............:D

  • Sorry Spa2k, I was in the process of posting this when the other guy hit with exactly the same thing.

If I'm right you work for Tesco. If so, speak to your GM tomorrow, as a briefing pack is being E-Mailed to Store Magaers (our Shrink and Security Mgr sent us ours today).

The E-Mail includes briefing for CSD staff and a PDF file which contains a photo of the new CSD Board which is being allocated from early next week.

This is NOT a hoax, I work for the business, and read the docs today.

Cheers, I was just going to report it to abuse.....but theres no button on a PM.

you can forward the PM by email to abuse@moneysavingexpert.com. They need to know of abuse sent by PM as well as on the boards.

Got called in today by my Gm and he stated that I would need to look and digest the new RR policy, which is being changed due to in part this site.
