Must already be sorted,
The OP is from EPH, and is on the PM list where they pass all their decent finds between the secret circle before they announce them to the rest. So I imagine at least another 20 attempts have been made at one of these before it was actually posted on MSE............if true of course........
No sour grapes either, I certainly couldnt afford (money or profile wise) to pull out that much in cash or credit (identity)card.
Brilliant...................if as i said.....true.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

bit of a argument but gave in when I pulled out my dictaphone and fake media pass and asked if they wanted to give a statement to the Sun!!
OP -postielatic.
They say Tesco gave in ? to what though R&R, DTD.
If it was an R&R - then WOW, think this could a record
OH MY GOD!! JUST NOTED THIS ONE DOWN BEFORE MY TRIP TO TESCO & GOT ONE! R&R big styleee! Staying wiv friends so nipped to their supersized super store (5x bigger than mine!) Knicked your tactic & recorded the conversation on my phone, when they refused I played it back to them, telling them I was on work experience for the Sun (they'd never believe i was a real reporter) and that this story could secure me a permanent contract!!!
Thanx Tesco, this tops off my £207 previous!
Total R&R: £4006.97 :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0 -

CS might only have offered the difference though ... in true CS fashion!
My mate, a Tesco manager type does inform me that they are preprogrammed to offer the difference as a first line of defence. If the customer is in "the know" then straight to R&R! (Obviously subject to change due to the policy changing on 26-02-07)0 -

Maybe some of us see the demise of r&r as the confession we sought in relation to pricing integrity have you thought of that? It's not going to be so easy to duck out of the NEW IMPROVED POLICY now is it, how long do you think? another 12yrs? That will do me nicely thank you I see adventures ahead of me, famous five scenes at the customer service desk to be more precise.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0
