Don't get me wrong. As supermarkets go, I quite like Tesco. However, as I said, because I'm a contributer to theri profits, doesn't mean I like being overcharged - simple as that.
Pity you think my post is contemptable. That's my very thoughts over Mr. Ts nasty habit of repeatedly overcharging its customers and appearing not to have the technology to stop doing so (let's face it, it's not the odd ODD SEL which we're talking about here!)

With the utmost respect I fail to see how you are unaware of this practice? This is the norm in most stores I have visited and I am talking from a perspective which encompasses interactivity with Tesco management. I'm not suggesting for one minute it is practiced in your store just question how you have not encountered it.

Totally agree. However, I don't think it's employees of Tesco who are on a wind up...rather another group elsewhere.

So unsubstantiated now equates to untrue? My total from a Tesco point of view is the wrong side of £40k, can I prove it? Yes, will I? No, why should I? Anecdotal of course, maybe I'm just a blaggard and mudslinger, maybe I'm genuine, the fact is you don't know anymore than any of the other posters on here and can only suppose what may be fact or fiction. I also have bolox which I am unprepared to substantiate if you don't believe that will they disappear in my sleep tonight?

Just been tonite to Norwich Blue Boar.They have the new policy board up behind the C.S. desk.It has the bit about "If things dont add up" and it is now double the difference...ah well it was good while it lasted LOL !!!

Reports say 26th is the policy change date. Anyone spoke to HO on the real line on this?
