Tesco misprice discussion area part 17

Three of the stores ive been in since Friday are already operating the policy. At each store I thought id try out the new DD to see how CS coped. Tried it on a small misprice(posted on here) and the sum involved was very simple. I should have been given £1.XX but in fact was given sums ranging from £2.xx up to £9.xx (items were on BOGOF).
Each time involved a lengthy wait, calculators were produced but since that is a machine it is wholly dependant on the correct info. being input in order to achieve the correct answer. 3 visits-0 correct amounts- all in my favour. Each time receipt was marked with comments ranging from"overcharge" to "DD Refund":A NI FEIDIR ACH LE DIA BREITHIUNAS A DHEANAMH ORM0 -

At the end of the day nearly everyone in here took advantage of a policy that was put in place to apologise for overcharging genuine customers not for people who actively go out in search of them and buy 10 of the said product! The policy has now changed because of people like that and all they can do is come on here and moan about it! As for the argument of putting clubcard points on peoples cards who have missed a pricing error that is their own fault for not checking their receipt! Why should they be awarded for not making sure their bill was right! Well i'm off to get on with my life because i have actually got one unlike some people on here!
I think you completely misunderstood, the reason for redfox's post. It was to inform people(they know who they are), that persistant ethical concerns should not be discussed on this thread, as i posted earlier, I asked redfox if he would rule on some earlier "ethics" posts..........just like you've posted above.
You then go on to insult others with your closing line........Couponing....."every little hurts"

just to clarify, please note that this thread is purely for discussing the Tesco misprice policy and it's implementation.
It is not for discussing the ethics of it, not for arguing about it, and not for discussing coupons and the method or ethics of using them (there are threads on the Discount Codes and Vouchers board where Tesco coupon usage is discussed at length)

:rotfl: Like some of us intimated a few days ago, this new policy could prove an absolute nightmare for CS staff. It won't be long before they are all belly-aching at their manager to get R&R re-instated, mark my words.

I said to one CSA yesterday that the DTD policy will make her job even more difficult.
She said to me that it would be much easier.
Then I asked how and asked whether they were going to give her scales so they could work out the overcharges on meat, etc. It was at this point I noticed that her friendly expression vanished as she considered the implications.0 -

She may have keeled over if you'd mentioned for instance 4 pieces of beef and 4 of lamb in the same transaction.Couponing....."every little hurts"

Actually leadhead i think you've missed the point tesco had a policy in place for many years until people started to abuse it thus forcing them to have no choice but to change it! Now everybody is going on about going to trading standards to report them for every misprice and going to the newspapers for national coverage! For christ sake give up!!! Everybody had fun whilst it lasted! JUST GET OVER IT!!!! :T :rotfl: :rotfl:
I had to put a little insult in cos everybody else does!!! :Twelshch1ck:p0 -

Actually honey, I'm quite relieved its going, had my £10k, onto pastures new.
And I cant remember once even mentioning anything re TS or newspapers in that context.
I certainly have had fun, but have been over it since its termination was first mentioned, in November.
and............another wondeful final sentence from you!!.
Addendum.....just realised you are one of those " chip on shoulder" CS assistants.(this isnt an insult.its taken from previous posts)(all 7 days of them)Couponing....."every little hurts"
