Well I decided to shop around today, but not looking for r&r and for only the second time I had an unintentional overcharge. I was given a full refund but I would have preferred double the difference, item was £9.97 priced at £2.97.0

Hi all,
m new to this rnr and found this thread from google!
i went tesco today and got 3 dinner sets - i dont know if u know these???
i wa charged around 1pound extra ...
i went to CS who said she wil refund me difference...i saw that blue board with refund and retain product thingamajic and pointed that out to her.....
she sais that the correct price was on the labe l and not the box as tesco put the labels on the shelves....i said to her that the diner sets were tesco branded and they had the cheaper price on there! she wasnt having any of it.....
i then got the nuber for head office and will be calling them and seeing what they say...
reading on this it seems like they giving double the difference to most people now but on our blue board it says refund and retain...
what do you guys think will i get a refund??
i got a party this week at my house so dont want to return the sets but its TESCOS POLICY...THEY SHOULD ADHERE TO IT!0 -

And I bet if they'd looked properly they would've found half a dozen new mis-prices rather than the ones they took from here.
You are asuming that the mistake was not corrected after it had been pointed out to the Customer service desk.0 -
Trolley dumping should be an Olympic sport
So being very immature again with comments like this Ben.0 -

It never is, so why should it be on this occassion. They take the SEL away to stop more RandRs, not so that people aren't overcharged.tosco12 wrote:Trolley dumping should be an Olympic sport

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Maybe they take the SEL away because it's wrong? The price that comes up on the till when the product is scanned is the correct one?0 -

The article clearly said, they took the SEL away to prevent further claims
It is against the law not to provide a visible price for a product.Couponing....."every little hurts"

The consumer can also choose not to purchase a product that isn't clearly priced?0
