The old boards should still be on display until Monday 19th
The new boards with double the difference are planned to go up on that Monday
Ours was delivered today!Sometimes I wake up grumpy, other times I let him sleep !:rotfl:0 -
Still seeing that Gordon Ramsay book in different stores, Its been 2 weeks now!
I would ahve got another two today but I dont want them and I coulsnt be bothered to stand in the que to claim the refund.0 -
i dont knowwhy they knowingly sell these products at the wrong price
if that would have been my store then i would have taken all books off the shelves with the wrong price.
its absolutely disgusting.
same with the psp games dvds and cds
maybe HO tell them theyre not allowed to remove wrongly priced goods(just like the xbox fiasco)
if it is so they are not showing due diligence.
theres no point in offering a policy if you dont show due diligence in the 1st place.
and this has nothing to do with removing ood sels either0 -
Here's an interesting point to argue.
If it's Double the Difference, then what about this.
SEL £10.00 - Product £15 = Free Product. Why?
Because the charge should have been £10 to start with, so you get £5 back as various sales and consumer acts dictate. Then the Double the Difference should kick in !0 -
i reckon you should pay at the sel price then doulble the difference from what u paid and should have paid at the advertised price.
so 17..xx goes in at 39.99
u should pay at the advertised price hense get back 22 quid. then double thedifference
and 44 quid back0 -

I don't know if that is the way it will work.
Price should have been £10 but you physically pay £15. You go to CS and they give you back double the difference which is £5 x 2 = £10.
So you are given back £10 but you have already paid £15 so the item costs you £5 not free0 -

well at the end of the day you haven't paid over the advertised price, have you? You've only paid £5.
I have no idea how they are going to work this out, guess it needs someone to try it and see.
Mind you they probably have no idea how it's going to work either :rotfl:0 -
it'll be great to convince them thats what they have to do
surely they have to agree somewhere they have to sell it at the advertised price somehow then double the difference kicks in as it was an illegal overcharge0
