When you open up messaging, and then create a new message you then click on the card thing and then select a contact, then click on it again and add the next contact -- doesn't that work for you? When I do that it shows multiple contacts, although I haven't tried actually sending the message.

ok i bit the bullet and ordered the pre3 on contract with vodafone on carphonewarehouse, 20 a month with the free assessories pack. really need some help setting it up! it opens up to the webso login, which i put in my account (the same one as my touchpad) it wont sign in says failed. i thought i needed the same account for both phones?? so if anyone has both can u please helpppppp
dont know whether its a vodafone prob or what

I bought both and use a separate account for each - works great.

The whole point is to have one account between devices, and changes on one are very quickly reflected on the other.
The hassle with the phones is that it has to be done over the phone network, WiFi isn't allowed unlike the Touchpad, which means it can be very slow to restore.
The first thing I would suggest would be to make sure you're in a strong signal zone. And secondly, if it's a gmail account, it could end in gmail or googlemail - try both.

hi, i got it to work - it was a signal thing - drove 5 miles around till it said it had submitted ok lol had fun ringing hp and vodafone first tho lol vodafone had no idea what the phone was. anyway, wanted them both on the same account so i can touch and share between the tp and pre3.

managed to get the preware on both too and have made them a little faster.

i bought mine from cpw and i got the pre3 acdessory bundle - love the touchstone charger thing - kids think its smart lol

really pleased i got it, and will be very annoyed if cpw sell it cheap on payg in the near future!
