You tempted more than one, simplicity.
    Thank you for the heads-up.

The sit seems to be a little slow.
But I went for the same deal as you:
    12 months @ £36 with 9 months free.

Ans went via quidco - so should get it for £6.50 per month should all the redemptions come to fruition.

I've got an old Lobster TV 'phone - I will keep it for the DAB radio...
So it is a new adventure for me with a 'modern' 'phone although the lobster was a smart one too.

I was lucky enough to get an HP Touchpad too - so this is another reason to get it.

    Many thanks again

Arrgh I forgot Quidco. But then my experience of them of late is pretty poor... they've gone right downhill.

I haven't had any issues with Quidco, but I don't use them any more as Top CashBack are just as good and no fees. But still, even without cashback it's a good deal -- of course, as long as all the cashback from mobiles.co.uk come through!

you're very welcome! i got the touchpad too from argos. hubby told me off for parting with some hard earned £400 odd but it paid out in the end. :D

Who thinks I too should join the club? What's the chances of mobiles.co.uk going bust? I know they are part of Carphone Warehouse and have apparently been trading for 15 years... but I'm still not sure :S

Is £169 a good price for this sim free, or is it better to get one with a contract. I just feel that as HP have said £69 I think I might feel ripped off if I buy one for £169 and then find it cheaper elsewhere

Forget it while I was typing for advice they sold out - so presumably it was a decent price - oh well back to the drawing board

Where'd you see it for that price?
    • It was on box.co.uk they had just had a new delivery. Silly me I should have jumped in but I'm a bit low on funds and was being cautious. Hey ho
