After the HP Touchpad... now the HP Pre 3 Smartphone. £49 down from £400! Sim Free!

Well I now have my TP and my Pre3.
I must admit I am struggling a bit with the phone, it looks good, feels good, but I cant quite figure how to use it : (
I got mine from e2save and I put my old sim into it and it copied the contacts without me even trying, so 10 out of 10 for that.
The thing I am struggling with is texting, it does not come naturaly.
Off to hunt for a youtube video to show me what to do : )
I also would like some items on the screen like FB? Can anyone help?

Meh to be honest with you mate, at £169 I probably wouldn't have gone for it myself... in fact I think I might just wait until there's some decent qwerty android devices since I have 4-5 months left on my contract anyway.

It can't be that difficult :O You do know there's a slide out keyboard right?! lol.

What do you mean by putting items on the screen? If you mean like a FB widget or something then that isn't possible as far as I'm aware. The "home screen" isn't customisable. If you mean FB icon on the dock then that is possible... although I'm not sure how... perhaps you have to long press on the FB icon? And then drag it perhaps?

These were first impressions having just set up the phone.
Yea I like having the FB and other much used icons on the screen, but Im sure I can cope without it : ) It will go onto the dock, but there is nothing I can knock off the dock to make a place for it.
The texting is weird though, it will just take some getting used to. Give me a week and I will be giving lessons )
